(Extremely vague spoiler alert.)
Tomorrowland is every bit beautiful and imaginative as the trailer makes it out to be- the fantasy world of a brighter future (and the special effects) will make an audience ooh and ah at its brilliance. But underneath that glittering surface, it's really nothing more than an overplayed cliche of the special "chosen people" saving a faulted world with their innocent hearts and a redeeming sacrifice. Choosing to ignore the somewhat lazy plot and characters (a reclusive and gruff man has his heart warmed? Really?!), you can overall find a feel-good movie to rent with the kids. And that's all you'll really get.
