Anyone who loves Video Games is familiar with the works of DICE and EA, they may also be familiar with their practices. Let's take a look at their collaboration with Battlefield 4 for example. Battlefield 4 had a decent amount of modes, maps plus a singleplayer experience to enjoy in its initial package. Yes, it was ransacked with server issues and didn't get up onto its feet for sometime, but you can now pick up the Premium edition of Battlefield 4 which gives you a very different experience.

Battlefield 4's greatest maps arrived in the form of DLC. They gave players the opportunity to engage in some of the best maps DICE have ever developed, with modes of combat we hadn't seen before. There's a reason for that of course - they want people to actually desire this DLC. Therefore, they put some amazing content in it that we all would have wanted from day one. Is this likely to happen with Star Wars: Battlefront? Yeah, probably.

Star Wars: Battlefront - Clone Wars & Space Battles DLC

DICE have made a convincing case that the Star Wars game they're creating is the kind of title they'd always dreamt of playing. They've made it clear that they love this universe and that they can't wait to do it justice on the game's release date on November 17th for XBOX One, PS4 and PC. But a lot of fans are unhappy with some of the choices that they've made in the game's development process - understandably so. Is it fair to assume that some of these features will be included later as DLC?

Two of the biggest requests that players have brought forward are Space Battles and the inclusion of the Clone Wars era. The latter I can completely live without, but space battles were something that the previous game gave us that I loved, and now seeing it being taken away in 2015 is really frustrating. Are DICE and EA saving it for their own Star Wars: Battlefront II? Or can something so big be brought in as DLC later in 2016?

I wouldn't put it past them. It would be a way that the company could guarantee a ton of sales. The implementation of space battles is something we all want. Though maybe this Star Wars game isn't the one that's going to offer us the opportunity. It's of course unfair to assume that EA would remove something from the chore of the game to be put in later, but then we've seen some pretty awful practices in the industry these past few years.

Therefore, I can see something as big as space battles joining [Star Wars: Battlefront](tag:2684021) in the form of DLC. The Clone Wars seems like something too big to incorporate later though. Perhaps the ultimate vision of this series will be realized in Star Wars Battlefront 2. But what do you guys think? Do you think the Clone Wars and space battles will be included as DLC?
