Teaser art for the upcoming Wolverine sequel, Wolverine 3 - Hugh Jackman's last portrayal of the Wolverine - has been released. Here it is shows Wolverine in a very dark and gloomy background, with the middle claw showing, and a hashtag to the right, saying 'ONELASTTIME'. The sequel is being directed by James Manigold, who did the last Wolverine movie, and is penned by David James Kelly. This film is to be released in cinemas March 3rd, 2017, straight after [X-Men: Apocalypse](tag:1194267) and Gambit.
To be honest, I'm really upset that Hugh Jackman is leaving the part as Wolverine, I think he did a great job of portraying the character and he was almost like he was born for the rule of the character, that is what I'm going to miss. It's gonna be a tough job replacing him, I assure you. The main question is though… WHO WILL REPLACE HIM? It's going to be an extremely difficult job I think to succeed a fantastic actor like Hugh Jackman, but here are some actors that might be great for the part (just to let you know, the numbers don't matter at all).
5. Liam Hemsworth
Brother of Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor (another Marvel character who is just awesome), Liam is most known for being in the Hunger Games series, with Jennifer Lawrence, who plays Mystique (hmm…interesting). He would be great for his part because he does look a lot like the part and it would be interesting if they EVER did an Avengers/X-Men crossover (which they probably won't but hey-ho), it would be interesting to see Thor and Wolverine, played by Liam Hemsworth, looking at each other like… 'I swear I know you'.
4. Shia LaBeouf (yep)
Having famously being a stutterer in Transformers 1, 2 and 3, Shia might be a candidate. Yeah, this is a weird one but he might look alright as Wolverine. I mean, yeah recently he looks like a homeless guy on crack, but he actually might look the part, especially with that disgusting beard and ponytail he's growing…eurgh!
3. Aaron Paul (BITCH!!!!)
Jesse from Breaking Bad might also be a candidate as well, having made his cinematic debut, I think, in Need for Speed. He did make me laugh a lot in Breaking Bad, and it would be very interesting if he was the part.
2. Keanu Reeves
At the age of 50, Keanu Reeves is still kicking ass after his latest blockbuster, John Wick. (They're even making a John Wick 2, I hear…). I think he'll be just awesome for the role, he even looks like a good Wolverine. My problem is he might be a bit too old for the role as Wolverine, but I do hope his name pops up in the auditions.
1. Sam Worthington
Having been in the god-awful Terminator Salvation and in the same year being a guy in a wheelchair in Avatar (2009), this guy would suit the bill. With the things he's been in and his facial appearance, I could see him being a very good Wolverine, but maybe not as good as Hugh Jackman.
But Sam Worthington isn't my number one choice. Out of this list, I would say my number one choice would be Liam Hemsworth. He's young, he plays different characters very, very well and I just love to see him play the role.
Anyway, thanks so much for viewing guys. If you could choose a Wolverine, who would you choose? Let me know in the comments below and I'll see you next time!!!
