Over the course of our lives we meet and befriend all kinds of people. 1. Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts
These two met at an audition for a bikini ad in Australia and have remained fast friends ever since. Nicole told the Telegraph:
"We share a naughty wicked sense of humor."
2. Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire
These two became friends in the late 1980s when they were auditioning for similar roles.
In an interview with the Associated Press, DiCaprio said:
"Every project we do, we talk about. Every single choice I've made, I've talked to Tobey about and vice versa. We've had endless conversations about certain projects and argued with one another and supported one another along the way."
3. Matt Damon and Ben Affleck
Becoming friends in the early '80s in Cambridge, Massachusetts when they were both kids living on the same street, these two quickly became the best of friends and they went on to write and star in Good Will Hunting together, propelling them simultaneously into the limelight.
In an interview with Parade, Affleck said:
"Before Matt, I was by myself. Acting was a solo activity where I'd just go off and do something, act in a little TV show or something, and no one understood it. … All of a sudden I had this friend Matt, and he gets it and wants to do it and thinks it's interesting and wants to talk about it."
4. Robin Williams and Christopher Reeve
This amazing celebrity friendship began in 1973 when Reeve and Williams were roommates together at the Juilliard School in NYC. They remained great friends throughout their careers, supporting each other throughout their lives.
In his autobiography Still Me, Reeve wrote about Williams coming to visit him in the hospital, disguised as a Russian proctologist:
Then, at an especially bleak moment, the door flew open and in hurried a squat fellow with a blue scrub hat and a yellow surgical gown and glasses, speaking in a Russian accent. He announced that he was my proctologist and that he had to examine me immediately. My first reaction was that either I was on way too many drugs or I was in fact brain damaged...For the first time since the accident, I laughed. My old friend had helped me know that somehow I was going to be okay.
5. Ryan Gosling and Justin Timberlake
Meeting as fellow cast-members of the Mickey Mouse Club, they even lived together briefly when Gosling's mother went back to Canada.
Timberlake said on The Jonathan Ross Show in 2013:
"We were crazy. We, like, skipped tutoring. Going to the park, to the 'Honey I Shrunk the Kids' set. We'd have milkshakes. Oh man, we were so gangster."
6. Liv Tyler and Kate Hudson
Although these two attended the same school in the '90s, they only really started hanging out after starring as lovers in Dr. T and the Women.

10. Adam Levine and Jonah Hill
Since their fathers were already best friends (having met at the principal's office in junior high), it wasn't long after these two were born that they started hanging out. In a Playboy Magazine interview, Hill said:

11. Robert Downey Jr. and Kiefer Sutherland
