The first trailer for Spotlight has just hit the web and sees a group of Boston Globe reporters break the true story of a child molestation ring in the local Catholic Archdiocese.

The first thing to notice when watching this great trailer is the absolutely phenomenal cast. Michael Keaton (Birdman), Mark Ruffalo (Foxcatcher), Rachel McAdams (Southpaw), Stanley Tucci (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2), John Slattery (Ant-Man) and Liev Schreiber (Ray Donovan) all star in this modern day thriller directed by Thomas McCarthy (The Cobbler).

A while back a cast photo from the film dropped online and immediately grabbed my attention and this trailer gets me even more excited for the film which hits cinemas this November. There are already a lot of Oscar worthy looking films releasing in the fall and Spotlight could be yet another to look out for when award season hits.

The unsettling and horrific true story of the Boston Catholic child molestation scandal is going to make for a tough but incredibly tense watch, especially with such talents as Keaton, Ruffalo and McAdams leading the film.

Spotlight hits theaters November 6th 2015.
