Hello! Today, I am giving my opinion on if Jared Leto's Joker will have a small cameo in Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice. We already know that Jason Todd, the second Robin, might be dead in this universe, and Joker obviously was the one that killed him. So, let's begin!
HA HA HA! Joke's On You, Batman!
Starting at the 2:00 minute mark in the Comic-Con trailer for Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, we are shown with Bruce Wayne looking at this Robin suit with graffiti and it says, "HA HA HA! JOKE'S ON YOU BATMAN!"
Many people think that this is Jason Todd's suit, and The Joker killed him like in the comic book storyline, "Death in the Family." In the story, Robin ignores Batman and pursues The Joker. Joker then kidnaps Robin, tortures him, and kills him by beating Jason with a crowbar. This could be one storyline that the movie developed.
So, could they show a not-so violent flashback of Joker torturing Jason? We all thought that at the end of the trailer for Suicide Squad, where Joker says "I'm gonna hurt ya. Really, really, bad." was him torturing Jason. But in the end, we found out he was torturing Harley.
And both in set photos and in the Suicide Squad trailer, they showed Batman on top of Joker's car.
And, did Harley have a thing in this too? In the same scene, they show Harley telling her puddin' that she hopes he's got insurance. If I recall, in "Death in the Family," there was no Harley Quinn helping her "Mistah J." Could David Ayer and Zack Snyder have worked together have tweaked the story a bit and have made Harley a part of the plan? We'll have to wait next year to see.
