Once again, the incredible director of Guardians of the Galaxy, James Gunn, hopped on Periscope (a live video-streaming app) to do a quick Q&A with fans. While he obviously can't spoil details about Guardians of the Galaxy 2, he did answer a lot of questions, both about and not about the Guardians.

One of the answers that stood out to me the most was when Nebula would probably have more scenes than she did in the first Guardians of the Galaxy film. For those of you who saw the film, you know that the character didn't have minimal screen time. She was in the Thanos scene, multiple scenes with Ronan, the battle at Knowhere, and of course the final battle aboard Ronan's ship, the Dark Aster.

In his last Periscope session, he confirmed that both Nebula and Michael Rooker's character Yondu would return for the sequel, but with talk for more Nebula scenes, we may be looking for character build-up going into the Infinity War films. For those of you who don't read many comics, Nebula is an important character in the Infinity Gauntlet storyline, where she ends up prying the gauntlet from Thanos' hand and undoing the damage he caused.

Now I'm not going to claim that that exact event is going to happen in the films, but it is likely that with even more Nebula scenes, we may see her as a character of significant import in the upcoming Infinity War films.

While Gunn was asked a variety of different questions, one of the most frequently asked was whether other major MCU characters would appear in the second GotG film, such as Thor or Loki. Gunn shot down the suggestion immediately saying that characters like Iron Man, Hulk, or any of the Avenger characters would not be in the upcoming film.

Another significant topic was the Adam Warlock cocoon seen in the Collector's collection on Knowhere. Gunn commented that it was "probably a mistake" that he included the cocoon, and that he meant it as just a fun cameo appearance. He didn't intend for the cocoon to incite such a uproar in the fan community. So calm down people, Warlock isn't joining the MCU... yet.
