(Warning - possible minor SPOILERS for Arrow season 4 lie below - or, at least, for the comic books likely to have influenced it. As Taylor Swift so sagely put it: "Don't say I didn't say I didn't warn ya.")

Now, Arrow may still be a couple of months from returning to our screens, but shooting is already well underway on the show's fourth season - which means details about what we're likely to see come this fall are already starting to emerge. One of the most intriguing we've yet seen?

We Might Just Have Our First Look at Season 4's 'Big Bad'

Specifically, an image has hit the web - courtesy of Arrow's very own Paul Blackthorne, a.k.a. Det. Quentin Lance - which seems to show Neal McDonough, recently confirmed to be joining the show as the villainous Damien Darhk, on set and in character:

Nice to be working with Neal McDonough this season...

Which is great to see and all, but the most intriguing part of the image?

It seems that Darhk will - in a subtle change to his appearance from the comics - be taking a distinctly stylish approach to villainy...

Which, added to his leadership of the criminal organization H.I.V.E. (and his past with the League of Assassins) makes him both a major potential threat to Arrow and the gang...and about as quintessential an Arrow villain as they come.

What do you reckon, though?
