It was recently announced that Chris Pine will be playing Steve Trevor along side Gal Gadot as Diana Prince in Wonder Woman which is set to hit theaters in 2017. Now this may come as a surprise to some hopeful fans who wanted Pine to take on the role of the Fear Fighting Intergalactic Guardian. But don't you worry my nerdy friends! I am here to supply you with ten- I repeat- TEN other actors who could replace him as the one and only, Hal Jordan.

1. Oliver Hudson

Oliver, much like his sister Kate is an extremely talented actor if you ask me. No, he hasn't been in much, but when he is he steals the show. Hudson has been in shows such as Rules of Engagement, Nashville, and soon he will star in Scream Queens which is set to premier on Fox on September 22.

2. Ashton Kutcher

Ashton Kutcher is mostly known as Michael Kelso from That '70s show, but believe me when I say this, he is so much more. This man can do great in any genre, from drama to action. So, he could easily do great things with this role.

3. Josh Duhamel

Josh Duhamel is a fan favorite for this role and honestly, I completely understand why. He looks the part, and most definitely can act the role. He's great at playing the comedic, arrogant leader. So naturally, he could crush it as this character.

4. Bradley Cooper

Bradley Cooper has been on winning streak when it comes to movies lately, he's been in American Hustle, Guardians of the Galaxy, American Sniper, and Aloha. Granted, he still has his contract with Marvel, but, if that were to fall through sometime soon, we could have our new Green Lantern!

5. Seann William Scott

Now, I know that he isn't known for his serious roles, but Seann William Scott is great at playing the cocky character who can steal the show, which might be exactly what we need for our next Green Lantern!

6. Armie Hammer

Armie has hit hollywood like a Hammer ever since his acting debut. He's been in The Social Network, Mirror Mirror, and the up coming film The Man from U.N.C.L.E., I'm sure that he could easily crush it as Hal Jordan.

7. Matt Bomer

Matt Bomer has been in In Time, Magic Mike, and American Horror Story. As you can see he has a pretty wide range of acting abilities. So a role like The Green Lantern could be perfect for him.

8. Wes Bentley

Wes Bentley isn't a really well known actor, but that doesn't mean that he isn't bad for this role. He's been in Interstellar, The Hunger Games, and he'll soon be in We Are Your Friends along side Zac Efron and Jon Bernthal. He's even been in Ghost Rid- *cough* I mean, uh... moving on!

9. Alex Pettyfer

Many people may think that Alex Pettyfer is just another pretty face but trust me, he's not. This young man is a force to be reckoned with. He's been in I am Number Four, In Time, Magic Mike, Lee Daniels' The Butler, and soon Elvis and Nixon with Evan Peters, Kevin Spacey, and Michael Shannon (who just happens to have played General Zod!). If he managed to land this role his career would skyrocket into places that he never would have even anticipated!

10. Jake Gyllenhaal

I'm aware that this is fan art, but it looks sweet!

Jake Gyllenhaal is my personal favorite on this list. He is such a phenomenal actor and would blow both critics and fans out of the water with this role. He's been in films such as The Day After Tomorrow, Jarhead, Brothers, End of Watch, Prisoners, Nightcrawler, and most recently, South Paw. If he were to dawn the green ring he would take the DC Cinematic Universe to all new places that no one would have ever imagined!

Well, that's all I have for now, everyone!
