First may I state, FOX HAS BALLS

..... Now I will continue

For years Fox has had many flops in the superhero genre from Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer to X-Men: The Last Stand. Don't get me wrong, as a child I loved those movies, but now that I am more into the comic book universe and a little more understanding, I realized that those movies were terrible. Please don't get me started with Daredevil (2003). You know the one with BatFleck.

Anyways for a while Fox seemed to be going down the drain, and where bound to lose their rights to their separate Marvel Heroes. Yet Fox had one brilliant idea, one that was similar to Sony's. Reboot the franchise so we don't lose anything.

So fast-forward a couple years later and Fox is making the dough. First the brilliant reboot of X-Men: First Class, then its beautiful sequel Days of Future Past. Now with X-Men: Apocalypse on the horizon, Fox has decided to go another route in order to stay in the game.

At the 2015 International Comic-Con every company brought their big guns to the table. For Starters Marvel gave a little tease of their Phase 3 and endorsed Ant-Man like crazy. On the other hand Warner Bro. released a new look at Batman v. Superman and the first trailer for Suicide Squad. While all of this was going on though Fox decided to drop one of the biggest bomb on them (though some fans already knew), Fox had a photo-shoot featuring the stars of X-Men: Apocalypse, Fantastic Four, Gambit, and Deadpool. With all the stars in said photo placing it on social media with the hashtag , it was clear what Fox was doing.

For so long people waited to see what Fox would do to compete against the MCU and the DCCU. Now our question was answered. Fox would tie in all of the upcoming movies to create a universe of their own.

But the next question is, will it succeed?

There are many reasons it possibly will, and here are a few of them

1. X-Men: Apocalypse

With the long awaited sequel to Days of Future Past on its way, fans have come out waiting for each and every little detail that they can get for the upcoming installment. Some have criticized the villains costume, yet others have just wanted more knowledge on the movie. With the release of the new costumes being on point with those of the comics, it looks as if fans will not be disappointed.

Especially since Bryan Singer is going all out with this installment, fans will not be let down.

Now there has only been one questioned that has yet to be answered. Will Hugh Jackman return as Wolverine in the upcoming sequel?

At SDCC 2015 Jackman didn't answer this question, but gave another answer to his other upcoming movie, which is reason #2 to Fox's upcoming success

2. Wolverine 3

Shiny!
Shiny!

As Jackman approached the mic at the Con he let everyone hear what fans have been dying to hear. What was Wolverine 3 going to be about, what was the plot? In three simple words Jackman said "Old. Man. Logan." Fans screamed in excitement, social nerds went crazy, and others though they're gonna make another Wolverine?

A few days ago Jackman went to social media and asked fans what should happen or what should he do in the upcoming movie. He also tweeted this sweet photo above and asked if they could place the hashtag . Immediately fans went on to give their own thought and Jackman was astonished at his fans giving him such praise.

With Old Man Logan coming in 2018, fans will line up for blocks just to see it.

Speaking of pleasing the fans

Reason #3 is......

3. Deadpool

Bang, Bang!
Bang, Bang!

When we heard Deadpool was going to appear in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, everyone was excited. We saw Ryan Reynolds dawn the Merc with a Mouth persona for about 2 minutes until later on Deadpool was replaced with some terrible Weapon X creation which looked like a cross between Ryan Reynolds and Barakka from the Mortal Kombat series.

Fans were not only disappointed with the Movie itself, but also upset that Deadpool was not the Deadpool they knew. So Fox took it into consideration. For the next years after that Deadpool would go in and out of Development Hell for years. Finally when it emerged from the almost eternal flames, Ryan Reynolds was attached to reprise his role. He even went as far as stating the Deadpool you will see on the screen will NOT be like the one from Origins. The one you would see would be just like the comics and would also include the traditional costume.

As for disappointing anyone, I highly doubt there will be any. Since fans have loved any of the pictures or videos that have been released. And for those who were waiting for the trailer that was supposed to come out last week, don't worry I'm waiting as well. Though I did happen to come accross this, which even though it is a bit blurry, it is enjoyable to watch. Plus its the closest to the real trailer we will probably get, for now.

I do not own this footage, but this looks like it was the Deadpool trailer released at the SDCC a few weeks back

As of now, Fox is really letting the other Universe's know, they will not go down without a fight. And with the upcoming line-up, they have a pretty good chance of staying in the game.

Now the last way that Fox will be able to make this a success is up to us, the fans. If we do our part and support the movie, then there will be no way this Universe will fail. After all without the fans, the Universe wouldn't be complete.

For now Fox has it's line-up set up

But it could change, after all it looks like Channing Tatum might drop out of the upcoming adaption of Gambit. But only the future can tell

Fantastic Four (August 7, 2015)
