So first and foremost, this article is all my opinion, so if you don't agree, you don't have to be a douche, just comment what you disagree on in a nice way! For this list, I am taking into consideration two things. If they look like their comic counterpart, and if they act like them! So here it goes!

10. Hugh Jackman as Wolverine

The best at what he does...
The best at what he does...

I think we can all agree that Hugh Jackman plays Wolverine amazingly. He surely fits the character and the look! However, the reason I put him so low on this list, is because of his height. In the comics, Wolverine is the grand height of 5'3", and Hugh Jackman is 6'2"... So basically a foot difference. To me, a big appeal to Wolverine in the comics, is how he is so small, but he still kicks everyone's butt! So if they ever recast Wolverine, I would really hope they could get someone at least a bit shorter than average.

9. Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn

Hey B-man!
Hey B-man!

Okay, I cheated on this one, because we've only seen her in a trailer, and the movie hasn't come out yet. As far as looks go, she is the perfect choice for Harley Quinn! From the little we saw in the trailer I think she nailed Harley's crazy personality. I'm pretty sure she used the accent that Harley has when she was in the car with The Joker. (I think it's a New Jersey accent?!) If she ends up sucking it up in the movie, then I will eat my words!

8. Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury

Where's my super-suit?!
Where's my super-suit?!

Since the creators of the Ultimates version of Nick Fury stated they patterned him after Samuel L. Jackson, what else is there to say? He was meant to play this character!

7. Chris Hemsworth as Thor

Do I look to be in a gaming mood?!
Do I look to be in a gaming mood?!

This guy has it down, the looks, the medieval language structure, I mean he looks just like Thor from comics! I was disappointed with the way he was portrayed in Avengers: Age of Ultron. (I mean come on, a metal robot was choking him? First of all metal is a conduit of electricity, and secondly, Thor can rip metal apart!) Anyways, this guy looks and acts like Thor, and at this point, it's hard to imagine anyone else playing him. I wish we got more depth of his character though, instead of just throw-away jokes, but hopefully in Thor: Ragnarok we get that. Also he needs to wear the helmet!

6. Ron Perlman as Hellboy

Aw, crap.
Aw, crap.

Yes, Ron Perlman looks just like Hellboy because he's covered in prosthetics and make-up, but that still counts! Not only does he look like his comic counterpart, but he acts just like the gruff and lovable Hellboy. Now if only they would make a third movie...

5. Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles Xavier

Make it so
Make it so

Who doesn't love Patrick Stewart as Prof. X? I mean come on! He has the calm collectiveness about him that was certainly present in all of the X-Men comics I've read. He just really brings the role home for me, and is very convincing as Prof. X. Nothing against James McAvoy, but Pat will always be the essential Prof. X to me!

4. Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man

Does whatever a spider can.
Does whatever a spider can.

Alright, I'm sorry, but I am still upset they recast Spider-Man. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! I mean he was great as Peter Parker, he had the look down, he had a weird nerdiness about him that really fit the character I thought. He had the skinny but still buff look, and even the costume in the second one looked exactly like the comics! Also he had the wise-cracking part of Spider-Man down great! He was amazing for the part, and I'm still upset they fired him.

3. Tom Hiddleston as Loki

Keepin' it low-key
Keepin' it low-key

Tom looks great for the part of Loki, and that's just the half of it. He is incredible at acting especially his face in The Avengers when he first teleports to the Shield base, I get the chills every time. He really has this menacing charm about him that is hard to explain, and must be hard to act. With fan girls at every corner, he is a true pop culture icon as well as a super villain icon. (He's also one of the only surviving Marvel villains, so there's that.) Considered by many to be one of the best parts of the MCU, I think it's time they brought him back! Infinity Wars maybe? He is the best cast actor in the MCU in my opinion, when you take into consideration his appearance and acting ability.

2. Christopher Reeve as Superman

Look up in the sky!
Look up in the sky!

I'm sure many of you can agree with me when I say he was the essential Superman. He certainly looks the part, I consider him to look the most like the comic Superman, out of those who have been cast to play the part. Coming in at 6'4", he was only an inch off of comic book Superman (6'3"). I don't know why, but to me he just feels like the right Superman. Nothing against, anyone else who has played Supes, ( I think Henry Cavill is doing an excellent job) but Chris has set the bar very high.

1. J. K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson

I'll give you a nice box of Christmas meat!
I'll give you a nice box of Christmas meat!

Is there anything bad to say about his portrayal of Jameson? Nothing comes to mind for me! His anger and enthusiasm is perfectly translated to film through the likes of J. K. Simmons. (Who recently won an Oscar I might add!) He has great one-liners and I could definitely feel his absence in The Amazing Spider-Man films. I just wish he could play the part again in the new Spider-Man films, but alas, that will probably not come into fruition.

*Bonus: Nicolas Cage as Ghost Rider

How'd it get burned?!
How'd it get burned?!

Okay honestly, I've never seen this movie or read any Ghost Rider comics, but come on, Nic Cage in anything is a perfect casting. I wish sooo badly that Superman Lives, directed by Tim Burton would have happened with Nicolas Cage starring as the Man of Steel. Seriously though, Nicolas Cage is great. I'm just waiting for when they will release the Nicolas Cage Collection with every movie he's been in. I will buy the crap out of that! Anyways, sorry for my Nic Cage rant.

So there it is! My all-time favorite casting choices for superhero flicks so far! Let me know what you think in the comments below! Again, there's no need to be rude if you don't agree, let's keep it PG people!
