#1 Britney Spears - Allie Calhoun, The Notebook

WHAT!? Why would this have ever been a good idea? Did the people in charge see Crossroads!? If Britney played the Rachel McAdams part the old Ryan Gosling character would have been happy when she forgot him. Too mean? Rachel and Ryan 4EVA. Can we talk about how Rachel and Ryan just need to get back together already? This is getting ridiculous. They were like the only celeb couple I liked

#2 Carey Mulligan - Lisbeth Salander, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Carey was one of several actresses vying for the part that eventually scored Rooney Mara an Oscar nomination. She auditioned three seperate times but was eventually knocked out of the running much to her chagrin. Here's what she had to say when the dream role was no more. “I can officially quash that rumor once and for all. It’s not going to be me. But I’m excited to see it. I love the books and I think it will be great.” Awwww. Luckily Carey has a very successful career and she even got hitched to the Mumford of Mumford & Sons. Which I guess isn't so great if you hate the Banjo.

#3 Jennifer Lawrence - Bella Swan, Twilight

Oh man, talk about lucking out by not getting a huge part. Lawrence landed the far superior franchise for sure. Even Jennifer admits to being glad she lost the role. When asked if she was glad she didn't get the part, she had this to say, “Oh yeah for sure. I remember when the first movie came out, seeing Kristen Stewart on the red carpet and getting papped wherever she went. I’d had no idea Twilight would be such a big deal. For me, and assuming for her, it was just another audition. Then it turned into this whole other thing.” Uh huh. I'm sure it had nothing to do with the fact that the movies are all crap. Nice try though, America's Sweetheart!

Emily Blunt - Natasha Romanoff, Iron Man 2

Blunt was 'almost cast' in two Marvel projects. She was cast as the Black Widow and as Peggy Carter in Captain America, but eventually dropped out of both movies becasue of scheduling conflicts. Here's what she had to say about it all, “Yeah, but it was never the right time, really, and it just didn’t work out scheduling-wise with those two. It’s always a difficult thing to talk about, because it’s not fair to the actresses who ended up playing them, you know? It just wasn’t the right time.” I just want everyone to talk about these things all the time tbh. More shade throwing please!

Lindsay Lohan - Regina George, Mean Girls

Lohan was originally cast as Regina but decided she would prefer to play the nice girl since she didn't want people to think that her persoanlity was the same as Regina's. First of all, it's called acting, dingbat. Second of all, LOLing forever over this fear considering all the things Lohan has done since then. The part went to Rachel McAdams who makes everything better, so yay! A Mean Girls producer had this to say about the switcheroo "Only nice girls can play mean girls." EPIC SHADE! This is what I'm talking about!

Anne Hathaway-Alison Scott, Knocked Up

Ugh. A great way to ruin any movie is to put Hathaway in it. SORRY! I just hate people with 'musical theater major' personalities. Anne was actually cast in the role that made Katherine Heigl a big movie star, but dropped out because she didn't approve of some nudity in the film and felt that it wasn't relevant to the story. EYE ROLL. The gratuitous nudity in question? A baby's head poking out of a vagina in a birthing scene. Seems pretty necessary to me. And also hilarious. Can we just put gratuitous nudity in every movie so she leaves film acting forever? Seems like a win/win

Emilia Clarke-Anastacia Steele, 50 Shades of Grey

No, no, no, NO. We can't have the Mother of Dragons convincingly playing one of the most dimwitted female roles of all time! But according to her, it wasn't the quality of the project that was the problem, “I really wanted to work with [Fifty Shades director] Sam Taylor-Johnson because she’s f–king amazing. But there is a huge amount of nudity in the film. I’ll never say, ‘I’m never doing nudity,’ because I’ve already done it, but I thought I might get stuck in a pigeonhole that I would have struggled to get out of.” Also the film was complete sh*t. But sure, it was because of nudity. I believe this about as much as I believe that none of my favorite characters on Game of Thrones will one day be brutally murdered
