In a recent interview with MTV, Simon Pegg, who plays Scotty in the new Star Trek movies, was asked to rank the Star Wars movies from worst to best in less than a minute.

As expected, Pegg ranked the prequels as being "a bad bunch" and putting them at the bottom.

It's obvious that Pegg had thought about this deeply before because of the amount of detail that he included with most of his answers. He almost ran out of time because of how much he was explaining his choices which really shows how much of a true fan he is. It is comforting to see that a real fan of science fiction is taking a leading role in Star Trek.

Pegg finished up the interview by summing things up in four words:

I hate the prequels.

While this is the most popular Star Wars opinion out there, I don't necessarily agree that the prequels were completely terrible but I do agree that the original trilogy is superior to the prequel trilogy. I am glad that he at least gave a small nod of respect towards Revenge of the Sith for its connection to the original trilogy.
