After the official release of the [Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice](tag:711870) trailer, in a recent interview with 'Boston Herald', Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee weighs in on who he thinks would win the epic superhero battle. Even though Marvel and DC are rivals, the creator of Marvel shared to the world that he believes Batman just doesn't stand a chance.

Of course there's always been a lot of controversy on who would've won in a fight, an alien who came from out of this world, or a bat vigilante? The tides have now been insanely turned, when the person who created your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man picked his side for the upcoming film.

Stan should really win an award for best cameos...
Stan should really win an award for best cameos...

Just recently, Stan Lee was interviewed about his love for superheroes, and explained why they're more important than you think. Towards the end of the interview, Laurel Sweet (the interviewer) decided to ask Stan a very important question.

"Batman versus Superman, who would you put your money on?"

A lot of superhero fans have always wanted to hear Stan's opinion on the topic, and this is what he had to say!

"Superman, I think. He's indestructible and can do anything; Batman relies on weapons, the fellow who created Batman, Bob Kane, is a friend of mine, so he'd be unhappy of me saying that. But at the same time, Jerry Siegel, one of the creators of Superman, used to work for me for awhile, so I have divided loyalties."

Stan says that he has 'divided loyalties' on the subject, but later on he concludes his answer with this:

"But if this is real -- a fight between Batman and Superman -- there's no one who should bet on Batman."

Sorry to everybody out there that are both fans of Batman and Stan Lee, but Stan just said it! If this fight is really going to a happen in real life, no one should bet their money on Batman! Well...he forgot to mention the possibility of Batman owning kryptonite!

Whose side are you on?

Stan Lee of course has every right to pick his side for the upcoming battle, since he used to work for DC, and has written Batman/Superman in the past, but does Stan's opinion in any way change yours? Will you listen to Stan and side with Superman? Or will you choose the Dark Knight if you haven't already? Comment down below! Excelsior!
