Mark Ruffalo Confirmed For Civil War?!

It appears the Green Goliath is going to war after all.

As much as some fans want this to be a World War Hulk Movie, it appears as if recent pictures have surfaced online with Mark Ruffalo being on set of 2016’s [Captain America: Civil War](tag:994409).

Ruffalo was was reportedly spotted partying with Civil War star Chris Evans (Captain America), Anthony Mackie (Falcon), and Daniel Brühl (Baron Zemo) in Germany, where the group is currently filming the Captain America Threequel.

According to German Newsgroup BILD (I hope you can read German), “Since this week, US superstars Chris Evans (34), Mark Ruffalo (47) and Anthony Mackie (36) along with fellow actor star Daniel Brühl are shooting the third part of “Captain America in Berlin.”

Now, if he sincerely is a part of the War, there are two decent ways he could appear, each having to do with his possible allegiance. Let’s take a look:

Bruce Banner could be backing up his brother in science in this one. Since Bruce and Tony both have extensive history together in the MCU, those being on the same team could make further history.

This brings in the Red Hulk theories. We all know that General Thaddeus Ross will be in Civil War, last being seen in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk. If you know Hulk Comics, you’d know that General Ross became the Red Hulk. If General Ross sticks to the government and sides with Tony in this movie, and becomes the Red Hulk, then the possibility of Bruce Banner being on Captain America’s side could bring firepower from both sides. Bruce also has been chased by the government for a long time, so being on Captain-America’s side could give Bruce a reason to let off all that steam against a government that tried to shut him down.

So what do you think? Will the Hulk appear in CA3? Well, with or without the Jolly Green Giant, Captain America 3 will hit theatres on May 6th 2016.

Directed by Anthony & Joe Russo from a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely, Captain America: Civil War picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain. Starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, a rumored Mark Ruffalo, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Chadwick Boseman, Emily VanCamp, Daniel Brühl, Frank Grillo, William Hurt, Tom Holland, and Martin Freeman.
