We all know (I mean for those who watched Man of Steel) how much damaged did Zod and Superman did to Metropolis. Even Watson Technical Consulting were able to calculate the damage these two brought to the city.
Namely (based from WTC):
- about 129,000 dead
- about 250,000 missing
- estimated $750 billion in physical damage
- 2 trillion in economic impact
Now you know when you see this guy coming to your way: GET THE HELL OUT!
Reminds me of another alien movie destroying the world, Independence Day. Why are these aliens not trained to have some manners?
To be honest this one is sick. Why is General Zod climbing if he can just fly to Superman? Just to destroy this building?
Ok! Here are some shots in the Dawn of Justice trailer / photos that will give us a sneak peek on how serious it may be.
And a lot more...
Then again, I love scenes wherein a city/car/planet/buildings gets wrecked (thanks to CGI). Because you got to see what will happen if ever this happen. The thing is, these scenes should only be applied where its needed. Some destruction shown in Man of Steel weren't needed, like Zod climbing the building, Superman not stopping a gas tank to explode, and so on.
I do respect and like how DC is making their cinematic universe realistic by making it dark and gritty. But they should know how to balance everything, I mean too much is not good.
We know that if we are looking for 5-star special effects they can definitely give it to us. And to see that they are slowly getting in there to complete the Justice League just gives us more reason to wait for more.
DC is on the way! (I love Marvel as well, I just can't choose)
