The long awaited trailer for the long awaited Deadpool movie has officially hit the web and sees Ryan Reynolds undergo a life saving experiment that will leave him with superpowers and the ability to do something good with his life.

The footage that premiered at this years San Diego Comic Con has only been tampered with slightly and should leave fans satisfied.

I really do love this trailer, not because I'm a massive Deadpool fan (which I'm not), but because it looks truly entertaining. The breakneck pace of both action and humor will hopefully translate over to the full feature and make this film stand out in 2016 against 6 other big comic book films releasing that year.

I'm not the biggest fan of Deadpool because I honestly don't think he's all that interesting, I'll agree that he's cool and he makes me laugh, but nothing about the character ever interested me that much. If he wasn't talking to the audience and saying "fuck" every other sentence than I doubt he'd have the fan base he does, which makes me thank god that this movie is rated R because I don't think I'd be able to stand a PG-13 Deadpool who isn't allowed to cuss.

Either way, this is a fantastic trailer, Reynolds was born to play this character and it looks like he's loved playing him. One of the most exciting aspects of this film to me is that the filmmakers have opted to animated Deadpool's eyes, this has never really been done before and it's something I'd love to see used in a future Spider-Man film.

Deadpool hits theaters February 2016 and stars Ryan Reynolds, TJ Miller, Gina Carano, Ed Skrein and Morena Baccarin.
