The Arkham Series is famous for it's subtle Easter eggs and references, but this recently revealed reference strongly hints at a future Justice League video game from Rocksteady.

Whilst gliding around the city, I overheard a member of Arkham Knights Militia name dropping the fictional nation of Kasnia. This intrigued me as I haven't heard this nation mentioned anywhere outside of the DC Animated Universe, so it got me thinking about what the reference could possibly allude to. Then I remembered that in the Justice League animated series, a villain attempted to take control of Kasnia, that villain being none other than Vandal Savage.

Yes, this reference could just be confirming Savage's existence in the "Arkham-verse" but what if it is part of something more? Let's take a look at the Easter Eggs and references in Arkham Knight that confirm or allude to various heroes.

  • The Flash
"At least in Gotham you can see Batman coming"

  • Black Canary

In the Clock Tower there is a computer which shows a conversation between Batgirl and Huntress, with Barbara telling Helena to go find "BC"

  • Martian Manhunter

These are all but a few of the Justice League references in Arkham Knight.

If Rocksteady were to make a Justice League game, we have a huge roster of Leaguers and a strong villain already established through Arkham Knight.
