If you saw Mad Max: Fury Road, you will agree that Charlize Theron stole the show. She was the ultimate badass, she made me feel like I could conquer the world, and she was incredibly smart and calculating.
More or less, anytime I got into a car and drove my girlfriends around, I would secretly pretend I was Imperator Furiosa taking my Breeder friends to The Green Place for safety.
We know George Miller is already putting a sequel together called Mad Max: Wasteland, and although it hasn't been greenlit quite yet, apparently Charlize Theron had no inkling of a second film.
"What's Wasteland? This is all news to me. I have not heard anything like that."
Yikes, guys! In my opinion, it would be a mistake not to include Furiosa's character for at least a little cameo in the sequel, as she was incredibly badass and fearless.
We will just have to be patient and wait to see if Warner Bros. will actually move forward with another IMAX, as it will be quite the risky gamble judging how expensive it was to make Fury Road (a casual $150 million), but I have my fingers crossed it will all be okayed and then they can get Theron on board immediately.
Also, in case you were wondering when you could get your hands on a copy of your very own copy of Fury Road, it will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on September 1st, and preorder is available here.
