So according to this article Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice is complete enough that there is a working print. No doubt they will spend the next few months touching of the effects, making the CGI look as flawless as possible, and working in any minor reshoots that may be deemed necessary.
What's more exciting, is that apparently the film is as good as all comic fans have hoped... if the studio is to be believed. Without going head to head against Marvel, DC does need their universe to be just as good, if not slightly better, in order to survive. Friendly competition makes ALL the products better, and ensures us that no one will start to "slack off" and push out half-baked comic book adaptations just to make a quick buck (I'm looking at you, Fox, and those abysmal treatments of the Fantastic Four).
But now it seems the studio is in love with Ben Affleck as their Batman. The man the internet objected to before even giving him a chance, is now the "definitive" Batman. While I'm not sure about reworking the whole universe just to make him the anchor, this is good news indeed, especially for those who were willing to give Ben a chance in the first place...
Affleck is considered to be the "definitive Batman" and could be the hub around which the DC movie universe will rotate in future movies.
