Deadpool has become one of the most anticipated films of 2016! Comic book fans are thrilled with the promise of seeing the fast talking, sarcastic, R-rated Merc with a Mouth on the big screen. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool is about a rogue agent turned anti-hero trying to hunt down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

It comes as no surprise that the adoring fans would create their own posters and art in anticipation of the film next year. However, one lucky fan got the attention of Ryan Reynolds himself who retweeted that fan's work on his official twitter account. Check that piece out below, as well as some other fantastic Deadpool fan art.

"There should be an award for fan art." - Ryan Reynolds

The image captures the fun of the anti-hero and completely reflects the slogan of the poster: with great power comes great irresponsibility.

I just love this art style. It reminds me of spray paint artwork but also has its own wonderful uniqueness to it. My hat's off to you.

Here's a look at Deadpool in a more dramatic setting! The anti-hero's stare makes him look so cool and still incredibly deadly. Better not get on his bad side!

This artist made Deadpool look just a little more psychotic than usual and I love it! The piece really captures how badass and awesome Deadpool can be. Who would look this cool surrounded with explosions with guns in their hands though!

A wonderful drawing that uses great lighting and shading techniques. I love the expression on Deadpool's face which really shows us his serious side. His posture is quite reminiscent of James Bond who's ready to strike down his enemy. A wondrous job by this artist!

Deadpool hits American cinemas on February 12, 2016.
