At the impressive age of 81, actor Terrence Evans passed away this past Friday, August 7th.
"Terrence was a consummate actor who was passionate about his art and about giving to others. He projected his strength and humanity into his character portrayals."
In a statement released by Phil Brock, his manager, of Studio Talent Group, Brock, Evans was a truly dedicated artist, who brought such warmth and realism to his many performances.
Evans has an extraordinary resume that has accumulated since he started acting in the '70s, including roles in such iconic films like Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Terminator 2: Judgement Day, and Star Trek, both Voyager and Space Nine.
Anybody remember him as Leatherface's uncle Old Monty? I have watched the Texas Chainsaw Massacre countless times, but I still found myself sitting at the edge of my seat biting my nails.
He definitely sent some massive shivers down my spine.
Evans is survived by his wife Heidi, two children, two stepchildren, and one grandson. Rest in peace, Terrence! Your legacy will live on through your many film and television performances.
