With a Five Nights at Freddy's movie on the way by director Gil Kenan, a lot of fans are excited. However, obviously not every animatronic is going to get screen time, because theres only so many animatronics a movie can take before becoming bloated. So I have made a list of 5 animatronics apart from the obvious ones (Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy) that need to be included.
Number 5: Mangle
The reason why I think this pile pf scraps most likely to have caused the bite of 87 should be included is because I think that Mangle is probably one of the only truly scary animatronics in Five Nights at Freddy's 2. Mangle is a dangerous foe and since FNAF 2 is a prequel l think it'd be great to see mangle in some sort of flashback (bite of 87 anyone?).
Number 4: Golden Freddy
Why should this ghostly incarnation of Freddy be included? Well, first of all Golden Freddy has been a mysterious addition to Freddy and the gang since game one. No one is quite sure who or what he is and if he's even real. But with a movie coming out what better way to shed light on Golden Freddy and his mysterious behavior than a movie? It could explain all mysterious of Golden Freddy such as his ability to teleport through doors, crash the game, and appear to be more powerful than the rest of the animatronics
Number 3: (One of) The Nightmare Animatronics
In a game thats supposed to scare you, if I had to pick the scariest animatronic of them all, I'd have to say one of the nightmare animatronics. With their razor sharp teeth, horrifying appearance, and the fact that Five Nights at Freddy's 4 was the only game where every animatronic scared me. With recent concerns that the film wouldn’t be scary, I think that the nightmare animatronics (or at least one of them) would put those worries to rest
Number 2: The Puppet
The Puppet may only be noticeably present in FNAF 2&3, but it's role in the story is pivotal. It orchestrated the events we see in all 4 games by putting the children’s spirits into the animatronic suits and going after the killer. Arguably the most powerful character in all 4 games, a FNAF film that lacks the Puppet wouldn't be the same. Some of the minigames we see in FNAF 2 such as Give Gifts Give Life would be amazing to see onscreen, and at the very least a cameo from the Puppet would make fans happy.
Number 1: Springtrap
Why is this severely damaged rabbit animatronic that terrorizes us in FNAF 3 at the top of the list? What makes him better and more vital to the film than the others presented so far? Well, for starters of all the animatronics in FNAF 1,2,3&4, Springtrap is the only one that is a true villain. Sure, all the other animatronics in FNAF 1-4 kill you, but they have non evil motives. They think they’re doing the right thing. Springtrap on the other hand kills you for the pure joy of it. Springtrap is also possessed by a cold blooded child killer (the Purple Guy) and Springtrap’s human form (also the Purple Guy) will most likely be featured in the film, and seeing Purple Guy's transformation into Springtrap would be fantastically gross to see in live action.
