Three Reasons Deadpool Is Better Off With Fox

My prediction is that the 20th Century Fox produced Deadpool movie is going to be a big success. Despite all the negative feedback about Fox studios after the release of Fantastic Four, Deadpool’s success is going to prove that not only is Fox not the enemy but that Fox can and does pull off successful superhero movies. Here are three reasons why Deadpool is off better of with Fox:

1. The R-rating: As we all know Deadpool’s potty mouth puts sailors to shame. His violent behavior makes the Avenger’s look like the Power Rangers. If Deadpool was owned by Marvel not only would we probably never see a Deadpool movie to begin with but Disney/Marvel, with their signature light hearted, family friendly, PG-13 signature, wouldn’t do Deadpool justice.

2. Black Sheep Syndrome: Let’s just admit that Deadpool, with his 4th wall breaking humor, would be awkward onscreen along sides the likes of Captain America and Thor. He just has no place in the MCU. If Disney Marvel did put him onscreen he’d probably get the Howard the Duck treatment, a small cameo at the end of the movie for a few laughs. And Deadpool is bigger than a simple cameo.

3. X-Men & Cable: If Deapool would be successful onscreen with other superheroes then Wolverine, Silver Surfer and Cable would be my first choices. Characters which Fox already happens to own. Don’t forget about Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead in the Deadpool trailer! Tim Miller has confirmed that he want’s to see Deadpool in a possible sequel:

Shortly after the first Deadpool trailer was released last week, Empire ran an interview with director Tim Miller in which he said he’d like to use Cable in a sequel, if there is one. “There aren’t really many definitive Deadpool villains, apart from Cable,” Miller explained. “If we don’t put Cable in Deadpool 2 I think we’ll be run out of town on a rail.”
