To those of you who aren't familiar with what Sinister is about, don't worry I'll fill you in. In the first movie, a true-crime writer Ellison Oswald, falls into a slump before coming across a snuff film that showed the death of a family. The writer vowed to solve the mystery, and moves his own family into the house of the victims. When old footage and various clues hint at the presence of a supernatural force, Ellison realizes that living in the house wasn't a good idea.
In this second film, a woman and her nine-year-old twin sons encounter the supernatural force known as Bughuul, in a rural house marked for death. Now the curators of horror responsible for Sinister 2 have an interesting way of advertising their new movie that's slated to come out later this month. Aside from their disturbing trailers and frightening posters, these people have conjured up an app called "Spread The Fear". The app allows you to make your own video by combining clips of your own, with a few clips of theirs. Check out the video I made earlier today. (Do yourself a favor and watch at full volume)
Did I get you?! Good stuff right? If you want to make your own scare, you can creep over to the website spreadthefear.com and scar your friends by spreading the fear! What are you waiting for?
