For those of you who aren't finished crying over the dramatic and intensely passionate true love between Noah and Allie from The Notebook, you can wipe those tears away right now.
The CW is working on a TV series that follows Noah and Allie as their love begins to blossom amidst a time of "racial politics, economic inequities, and social mores of post-World War II of the late 1940s in North Carolina."
Sadly, Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling will not be returning as their famous roles, but I'm hoping their replacements will be just as desirous and romantic. In case you're wondering what the ex-couple has been up to recently, we have the answers!
Ryan Gosling has moved on to gorgeous actress Eva Mendes, and the two have a one-year-old daughter named Esmerelda. He is currently working on the film La La Land with Emma Stone, which will be the third film they act in together.
McAdams is a very private person, but you can catch he showing off her immense acting skills in Southpaw and True Detective. Although it is still in its working stages, McAdams is considering the female lead in Marvel's Doctor Strange, which will most likely star Benedict Cumberbatch.
While some may be stuck on the past hoping Ryan and Rachel will somehow get back together, I feel The Notebook TV show might help pacify those crazies who just can't let go.
But we can all admit that there are times where we haven't fully let go, too.
