Do or do not, there is no try..

Going into season 4 we're expecting to see a few storylines that are enticing. The evolution of Laurel Lance/Black Canary, Thea Queen/Speedy, & John Diggle/Guardian from street vigilantes to "super"-heroes. Although it's already a given that Laurel & Diggle can handle their ends, its going to be interesting how Thea Queen will fit into her new role in "Team Arrow".

There is also the missing link between the events in Hong Kong and the point in which we see Oliver Queen first on the island back in season 1. There is also mention of a "love interest" back story for Oliver, with Elysia Rotaru being recently cast for the role. Maybe some heat on Olicity to make it interesting?

The storyline involving Oliver, Barry Allen/The Flash & DC's Legends of Tomorrow against Vandal Savage (Casper Crumb) is going to be something to watch!

With a this new team, primarily made up of Firestorm, Hawkgirl, The Atom, Captain Cold, & a resurrected Sara Lance as the White Canary- we'll get a whole new storyline for Oliver to take part in.

There is also debut of Season 4 baddie Damien Darhk (Neal Mcdonough) to look forward too. Remember that this guy RIVALED Ra's Al-Ghul and is no slouch. A master tactician and a deadly opponent.

It's also worth noting that Damien Darhk has quite a bone to pick with Oliver Queen and his team who attempted to use the former League Assassin as leverage against Ra's Al-Ghul.

Most important to me-at least is this one story. It stirs my curiosity on how or what will transpire that triggers Oliver's ascension into the Green Arrow. Last we saw, he was on a one way trip to paradise in the company of his new love-Felicity Smoak. So we know at least in his heart, he has found peace, and peace won't re-awaken an already deadly warrior.

Oliver Queen has risen to a Batman-level combatant for a non-meta human, able to engage & destroy just about anybody or any army. Having defeated Ra's Al Ghul and killing the Demon's Head mortars down that fact in stone. Not caring for the power that honor bestows on him, Oliver dealt away the chance to rule over the League of Assassins to Malcom Merlyn and just walked away from it all.

So what will be the catalyst for the big change that we all have waited for? What will be the fire that will baptize Oliver Queen-The Arrow into the legendary Justice League icon known as The Green Arrow?

I believe the answer to that will come from a threat to someone he loves and the involvement with this legendary icon. Now I didn't believe it at first, but when it was finally confirmed-it changed the game for the CW in regards to Comic Book Television. Read the announcement here!

NBC's CONSTANTINE will appear in season 4 of Arrow with Matt Ryan reprising the role.

Arrow Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim said this about Ryan’s guest appearance:

“We are thrilled to have Matt Ryan reprise the role of John Constantine on an upcoming episode of Arrow. Matt is an incredibly talented actor and his portrayal of this beloved character was always something we admired. The introduction of magic and mysticism on the show this season has provided a truly organic opportunity for us to bring John Constantine to Arrow and the CW’s DC universe. It will be a well-deserved tip of the hat to all the Constantine fans who were so incredibly supportive of that series.”

Now in case you didn't catch the show to know what to expect, here was the trailer that aired for the show.

Now, could this lead to someone's death/resurrection or attempt thereof involving the Master Warlock? Rumors are flying about something "really" bad happening to Felicity? Death maybe? Or maybe something "possesses" Felicity and we see a return of her "dark" side.

Of course, it is now in the realm of possibility that John Constantine may be a key to solving the mysteries of The Lazarus Pit for Oliver in regards to a possible resurrection? It can also include a supernatural story-line for the future. Last we saw on Constantine, an evil was in the midst of being released upon the world and he was going to need a lot of help after a major reveal of who his real enemy is.

It's an exciting union that will bring a new level of excitement in the DC/CW universe. Even if it's for just one show in Season 4, it hopefully will be the first of many John Constantine stories for The Green Arrow AND both The Flash & Legends of Tomorrow. Whatever happens, we'll see a "one-shot" story bringing these two icons together and it may be the ignition that sets Oliver rocketing back to "Star" city as The Green Arrow. Till next time friends!
