Beware criminals! Superheroes aren't just in comics anymore, as the U.K. has a man who creeps in the shadows, and fights crime wherever he can. No one knows his name, no one has seen his face, but the mask/bandanna he hides it in, and the manly beard he shows to all citizens and criminals.
What do they call him? The Bromley Batman!
Reports have been coming in of people getting saved, and criminals getting beaten by a mysterious, and astonishing man clothed in all black with a mask! Some citizens have gotten the chance to tell their stories about being rescued by the real Batman!
One innocent citizen, named John Salter, 35, was exiting a pub with his girlfriend was interrupted by a mean-looking group of thugs attempting to mug them. As the crime was taking place, the dark knight surprised the thugs by emerging from the shadows, and delivering them a 'Bromley Batman' beating! The savior looked at Salter and said:
"Don't thank me - I'm the Bromley Batman."
Salter told 'The Mirror' that the hero had a short beard, a thick London accent, and was wearing black clothes, a mask and a bandanna. This is how he explained how the incident took place:
"I was approached by three lads whilst out with my girlfriend in town quite late at night. They were very drunk and one hit me in the face. Then out of nowhere a man wearing black with a bandanna and mask on, who was about six feet tall with a stubbly short beard, jumped in to protect me and fought off the men. He threw one of them to the ground and kicked the other one in the chest. He went flying back and onto the ground, and he then grabbed the last man and threw him to the ground. The men got up and stumbled away. I have heard lots about this man. He told me he was the Bromley Batman and then said to me in a very apparent London accent 'I suggest you be more careful. Even in Cornwall you're not safe', and then he said 'enjoy your holiday'."
'Bromley' is actually a town from England, so that is where the 'Bromley Batman' could have originated, but he's doing justice in other towns! It would be pretty awesome if America got it's own 'Batman'.
When did it all start?
The 'Bromley Batman' made his first appearance when an elderly man who was walking his dog noticed someone dressed in black, and wearing a mask was mysteriously wandering the streets. The elderly man shouted at him, and the masked man said he's here to help.
Bromley Batman shared to the U.K. that he's professionally trained in 'self-defense' ever since he was a little boy, and revealed why he wants to do justice in the world by saying this:
"I just want to make a difference and leave this world a tiny bit better for the younger generation to inherit. I got sick of seeing crime on the news and in the papers with rarely anyone willing to step in and help people in need. I just remember one day thinking, 'I have the skills to help, so what am I doing with my life. I sat and watched crime being reported and scandals in parliament, and thought, 'this would is f****d up and needs some help'. I don't go looking for trouble, I hope every time I go out that I don't come across it."
I wonder what his name is, it would be so epic if his last name is Wayne! Watch out criminals, because the Bromley Batman is here!
Justice will be served!
