Now given the current DC Movie slate that we have to look forward to, in roughly, 27 months, on Nov. 17 2017 (10 days b4 my 39th, happy bday 2 me), we'll be in theaters, some of us getting the IMAX 3D treatment for 6 costumed individuals who will fight a big bad, making a dream come true for many of us.

Now, my first choice for the big bad of Part 1 is, without a doubt, Brainiac, or the BRAIN InterActive Construct. And I'll try to make the why worth a read...

Now from his original origins as the alien who shrunk Kandor to his subsequent resurrection as a born-again computer being thingamijig, Brainiac could be turned into a spectacular technological terror to unleash upon the richest, most powerful nations on Earth. Let's face it, if Brainiac could find, manipulate and overpower frequencies all over the world, phones, tablets and mobile devices would go from being our thing to his thing in about 60 seconds. And that's just the updated version of what Brainiac could be on screen...that could easily be integrated into his classic origin, which could be used as well. Yes, I said that...we could have Kandor in the story as well, if done right. The point is there is so much of Brainiac to play with that it would be wrong not to use him for a JL baddie. And, let's just admit it, fan casting him is always fun...

The chaos that could be created as a by-product of Brainiac's techie meddling and shrinking could make for one of the most inventive, visually spectacular and intensely suspenseful adventure stories that DC fans could ever get...just an idea...

Now onto the biggest baddest bad that ever graced a comic book page...the darkness AKA Darkseid...now with 45 years of material to work with, there's a good chance, a tight Darkseid story could be the best comic book adaptation ever...yeah, I said ever. And being as WW will have her feature a few months before JL 1 and without knowing how it will fit into the pipeline, she could be the lead-in to the League's first effort. Darkseid did go after the Amazonians, after all and it would make for a hell of a brawl leading into the Leaguers playing ball. Like I said, with over 40 years of material for Darkseid, and the fan popularity, there's hopefully a good chance we'll see big, blue and rocky tackle the League.
