Another Telltale joint chronicling the adventure of Fiona the Grifter and Rhys the Hyperion stooge on their journey to find The Vault of The Traveler. The people at Telltale have combined the macabre sense of humor that's so popular in the Borderlands franchise, and made one great story with both new and existing characters. The series is episodic just like every other Telltale game. In each episode they reference that it's a video game in a very clever hilarious way breaking the fourth wall.

Episode One: YOU ARE DEAD!

That's a lot of blood
That's a lot of blood

In the first episode the two main protagonists get captured by a bandit, and are forced to tell their sides of their adventure. When you die, usually the game has a death animation and then it restarts from the nearest checkpoint. But if you die for the first time not only do you get the animation, but you are thrown into a title screen that says YOU ARE DEAD. Then there is a pause and the bandit asks..

If you died then how are you telling me this story?

Then the story continues on from the last checkpoint.

Episode Two: Huge Choices

Cut the blueish green wire
Cut the blueish green wire

People familiar with Telltale games will know that it's dialogue heavy with the ability to chose what you want to say or do. In Episode Two Rhys and Vaughn (your best friend) are trying to decide where to go. A map comes up and Rhys starts talking to himself saying:

I always talk to myself when I'm about to make big choices! Wow this is really hard right! I have plenty of time to make this decision.

Episode Three: You Will Remember This

The King of Elpis.....HANDSOME JACK!
The King of Elpis.....HANDSOME JACK!

Another staple of Telltale games is when you make a choice a character will remember what you've said or done. They will bring it up later on in the episode or in another one. While talking to A.I. Handsome Jack in Episode Three you make a choice to either let him help you or to refuse. Either way this hilarious moment, look at the above picture, where Jack looks and points to the top left of the screen.

What the hell is that? What the *&$% does that mean?

Episode Four: New Skin Unlocked

HAHAHAHA
HAHAHAHA

In the newest released episode, Escape Plan Bravo, you have to go and retrieve the dead body of a Hyperion boss so you can scan it and wear his body. After outrunning psychos you scan the body and a voice says.

New skin unlocked!

Throughout the Borderlands games you can swap heads and bodies to make yourself look more badass or more goofy.

You're sick you know that?
