WHAT IF MAN OF STEEL FANS DEFENDED OTHER TERRIBLE FILMS?

After seeing all the tactics that Man Of Murder fanboys have use to defend the film for the last two years, I began to wonder what would happen if they started defending other lousy films that people hate. Here's the likely result:

Plan 9 from Outer Space Review

Plan 9 should be called Sham 9!

I just got around to seeing this pathetic excuse for a "movie" and I'm sorry I did. Just wow. I'm sorry, I really wanted to like Plan 9, but this was terrible. Worst horror movie I've ever seen. Maybe the worst film, period. People had warned me about seeing Ed Wood films before but sadly I didn't listen.

Where to start? The script is a joke and the director is a total fail. This film made no sense whatsoever. It goes from night to day back to night again in the middle of a scene, the guy playing Bela Lugosi's character looks nothing like him at all, the "UFOs" in the movie are so poorly done that they look like hubcaps (maybe they ARE hupcaps), I could go on and on. It was obviously a very cheap rush job. Wood can't write horror. I felt particularly bad for Tor Johnson -- he's a professional wrestler who is supposed to be playing a police inspector but he's so wooden he seemed like a zombie before he's turned into one! Who's idea was it to cast him? And is the Lugosi "Ghoul Man" character supposed to be a zombie or a vampire or both? Even Ed Wood doesn't seem to know. The "Ghoul Man" lurking around with a cape over his face was painful to watch.

I'm sure Ed Wood has some type of talent he's good at, but film making isn't it. He should be ashamed of this sham. Ed Wood is a hack and clearly has no clue what he's doing. Bela Lugosi is probably spinning in his grave after what Wood did to his legacy. After seeing this garbage, I won't be watching Night of the Ghouls or The Sinister Urge. Hollywood has got to be nuts to greenlight any more of Wood's vanity projects after this latest disaster.

"Sham" 9? The film's name is PLAN 9, troll! How childish. You don't like the movie so you change the name to insult it? Awful attempt at trolling. Your argument is invalid.

Trolls like Disappointed are just butt hurt Lugosi fans who can't get over the past. They cling to films from the 1930s and won't accept anything new or different. Whether you like it or not, Tom Mason is the Ghoul Man now. He may not be YOUR Ghoul Man, but he's Ghoul Man to a lot of people.

Edward D. Wood Jr. is a "hack"? Please. Mr. Wood is a seasoned Hollywood director with multiple films to his credit, including Bride of the Monster, Jail Bait, and Glen or Glenda. He's not some wet behind the ears newbie director who has never done a feature before. Furthermore, Mr. Wood has stated many times that is a HUGE fan of Bela Lugosi and has worked with Lugosi many times in the past. Plan 9 is a honor and tribute to Lugosi. You sir, have no honor or decency.

Obviously, you LOSERS bashing this movie simply don't understand that its an a ORIGIN film. The aliens NEVER used their first eight plans for attacking earth. Plan 9 was the FIRST time they actually attempted it. They are NEW at it, you can't expect them to pull off a polished, seamless invasion of earth. They are being tested and learned NOT to turn humans into zombies. Make sense now? Geesh. Idiot.

A few crybaby haters on the internet won't change the fact that Plan 9 was well received and audiences like it. You hating it won't stop it from getting a sequel. It currently has a 66% "fresh" rating with audiences on IMBD, Wood's The Sinister Urge has been announced by the studio, and Plan 9 is being colorized in a brand new DVD release, which was a best seller on video. The critics bashing this movie simply got it wrong. Suck it, haters.

Mason is the unofficial Dracula of our generation

by TomMasonisGhoulMan

Whether you love or hate Plan 9, I think we can all agree that Tom Mason was the best "vampire character" ever. I haven't heard any complaints about his casting. He stands head and shoulders above Lugosi.

"Disappointed" is a delusional hater who seems himself in a "war" between Valiant Pictures and Universal Pictures. He's a Universalite and just mindlessly hates anything directed by Wood because its done by Valiant Pictures. Sad trolly-troll.

Tor Johnson was "wooden" in his role? Please explain. Are you saying you oppose casting him just because he's a professional wrestler? You do know Johnson has been in over a dozen other movies, right? I thought his performance was great. I enjoyed it.

Someone ban this hateful troll

by NightofGhoulsComingSoon

"Total fail" "Worst movie ever" It "sucked"? Hmmm. I smell a troll. Zombies weren't portrayed the way YOU think they should be portrayed. Because you didn't get what YOU wanted, you resort to insane exaggerations about how its the "worst" ever. Like it or not, film is subjective. Saying the film looks "very cheap" or Tom Mason doesn't look and act like Lugosi is just YOUR opinion. Trolls confuse facts with opinions.

Re: Someone ban this hateful troll

I agree with NightofGhoulsComingSoon. Disappointed should be banned. These haters are hypocrites anyway. Bride of the Monster was a disappointment because Lugosi never appeared with a zombie the entire movie! Audiences wanted to see the Dracula character with zombies, so Wood gives 'em what they wanted, and now they complain there are TOO many zombies? Rightttttttt...

I can't believe these childish attempts at trolling. This idiot even announced he's already decided that Night of the Ghouls and The Sinister Urge will be "rotten" BEFORE he's seen a single second of the film! What a joke. You can't JUDGE a movie UNLESS you've seen it, troll! I think Night of the Ghouls will be great. Let's give Kenne Duncan a chance!

Wood is an excellent director. Obviously, the night to day back to night again stuff is going to be explained in the sequel.

Re: Plan 9 should be called Sham 9!

by iLuvPlan9

Wood had a Dracula character lurking around in a cape because he wanted to do something fresh and new and different. The Lugosi version of that character was popular in the early 1930s, but that was 30 years ago. It was time for a new take on the character.

UFOs look like hubcaps? Seriously? You trolls are attacking the design of the spaceships now?

Re: Plan 9 should be called Sham 9!

by EdWoodRox

Edward D. Wood Jr. dragged horror films, kicking and screaming, into the modern era. This may not be the Ghoul Man that audiences expected, but its the Ghoul Man we needed. Lugosi's stuff is old and dated and cheesy. It needed a revamp. Wood is a genius and Plan 9 will go down in history as a masterpiece of cinema.
