So you love Supernatural, Doctor Who, and SHERLOCK? (Me too!)

Here are 6 cocktails that will make any SuperWhoLock viewing session even more pleasurable!

SUPERNATURAL Drinks

The Wayward Son

2 oz rye bourbon (Hunter's Helper)

1 oz honey simple syrup (1 part honey, melted into 1 part water over a stove, then cooled)

1/2 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice

1 small pinch cayenne pepper

1/4 oz Scotch to float on finished drink

Take all ingredients except Scotch and place in a cocktail shaker with ice and stir until combined, about 10-15 seconds. Double-strain into a highball glass or mason jar (because it's cool) filled with ice. Carefully pour the Scotch over the finished drink and garnish with a curl of lemon peel. Drink, fight evil, repeat as necessary. (Source)

The Salt N' Burn

1 oz. Fireball Whisky

1/2 oz. Domaine de Canton (ginger liqueur)

1 tsp. agave syrup

Rimming mixture:

2 tbsp. sugar

1 tbsp. salt

1 tsp. cinnamon

1 tsp. chipotle chili powder

First, combine the ingredients for the rimming mixture and rim a shot glass with it. You’ll have some leftover, so save it for round two. In a shaker, combine Fireball, Domaine de Canton, and agave (which you can adjust to taste). Pour into shotglass. Cheers! (Source)

DOCTOR WHO Drinks

TARDIS-tini

2 oz Hpnotiq

1 oz crème de violette

¾ oz vodka

½ oz blue curaçao

Mix all ingredients in a shaker, shake and strain into chilled stemmed cocktail glass, garnish with an orange wheel cut hexagonally* and edible gold stars.**
*The trick with the orange hexagons is to cut the slice thick and keep pith on the edges – without the pith, the orange will be too flimsy and will fall apart.
**Edible gold stars can be purchased in the baking section of any craft store, eg. JoAnn’s or Michael’s. (Source)

The Exterminator

The ‘Exterminator’ cocktail is NOT for the faint of heart – this deadly drink contains nearly twice the amount of alcohol in a standard Long Island Iced Tea! Though aggressive and ready to exterminate you, this drink (not unlike the Daleks) is fun and completely addictive

1 oz. Light Rum

1 oz. Dark Rum

1 oz. Kraken Black Spiced Rum

½ oz. Agave Nectar

½ oz. Amaretto

½ oz. Triple Sec

¼ oz. Grenadine

2 oz. Orange Juice

2 oz. Pineapple Juice

Pour all ingredients into a mixer with ice, shake well, serve blended or on the rocks in Collins glass with pineapple flag garnish. (Source)

SHERLOCK Drinks

Sherlock

1 oz. Top Shelf Vodka (We’re talking about Sherlock. Try Grey Goose or Belvedere)

1 1/2 oz Cranberry Juice

½ oz Blue Curacao

Directions: Use a chilled stemmed glass. This drink would look smooth in a Martini Glass. Pour the ingredients in the glass in order. When you add the Blue Curacao, you’ll notice the color smoke into purple. Ah, Science. Optional Cherry Garnish, but don’t over do it. The body is just transport.

John Watson

½ oz Light Rum

½ oz Tequila

½ oz Gin

½ oz Vodka

½ oz Triple Sec

Orange Juice

Orange Wheel

Directions: The Glass doesn’t matter too much, you’re not trying to show off. Try a stein type shown here, or a Collins Glass. Shake the alcoholic ingredients with ice and strain into the glass. Fill with Orange Juice. You’re allowed to feel fancy, Float some Grand Marnier if you’d like. Add Orange Wheel. The idea is to let them think that you’re innocent, then you can unexpectedly kick them in the face.
Now people will definitely talk. (Source)
