We've been waiting WAY too long for Finding Dory. It's been a whole 12 years since Finding Nemo and still nothing from Pixar other than a couple of teases and a date in the distant future: June 17, 2016.
That's a long time to wait for the sequel, Finding Dory, but it's gonna be worth it. I mean, who doesn't want more of this adorable li'l Pacific Regal Blue Tang?
Pixar President Jim Morris offered the premise for Finding Dory a while back:
"The movie will be mostly set at the California Marine Biology Institute, a huge complex of sea life rehabilitation and aquarium, where Dory was born and raised. We will get to meet new characters, like an octopus, sea lions, a beluga whale, among others."
And here, for the first time, is that octopus...
Hank the "curmudgeonly octopus with seven legs" will be voiced by Married... with Children's Ed O'Neill, and he looks like a great addition to the team.
This means that we know a lot more about who is on board for Finding Dory. Idris Elba and Dominic West will feature in as-yet undisclosed roles, and we'll also see the return of Marlin (Albert Brooks), Nemo (Hayden Rolence) and Dory (Ellen Degeneres). Check out some of the new arrivals!
Ed O'Neill as Hank the Octopus
Diane Keaton as Jenny, Dory's mom
Eugene Levy as Charlie, Dory's dad
Ty Burrell as Bailey the beluga whale
Kaitlin Olson as Destiny, Dory's adopted sister, a whale shark
Morris also promises that at least some of the 'Tank Gang' from Finding Nemo will show up, including Willem Dafoe as Gill the Moorish Idol...
... and Vicki Lewis as Deb (and 'Flo'!) the Four-Striped Damselfish
You can finally find Dory on June 17, 2016.
