This year is the 20th anniversary of A Goofy Movie (and yes, I feel geriatric, thanks for asking!) and the man behind Max Goof is feeling just as nostalgic about the movie as us fans are.
Voice actor Jason Marsden shared a video on Twitter of himself on the way to D23 belting out 'On the Open Road' from the often under appreciated Disney comedy, and fans of the movie will immediately notice the twist...
Yep, that's right, Marsden is actually singing Goofy's (voiced by Bill Farmer) part of the song as opposed to Max's. In fact, Marsden doesn't even sing as Max in the movie where Aaron Lohr takes up the mantle as Max's singing voice. Who knows why though because Marsden is clearly capable of absolutely killing it!
If that wasn't enough to cast your mind right back into 1995, Marsden also uploaded a video of Tevin Campbell (Powerline from A Goofy Movie) belting out '121' (also known as 'eye 2 eye') at D23:
Oh, and if Jason Marsden's voice sounds familiar to you, that's because he has given a voice to plenty of beloved characters, some of his other roles include Thackery Binx (Hocus Pocus), Adult Kovu (The Lion King II: Simba's Pride), Mungo the Gorilla (Tarzan), Felix Renton (Kim Possible) and Haku in the English dubbed version of Spirited Away.
