Grant Gustin, of former Glee fame and star of The Flash as Barry Allen/The Flash came out a victor at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday night. He won an award for Choice TV: Breakout Star, beating out Candice Patton (Iris West) along with Gina Rodriguez (Jane the Virgin), Yara Shahidi (Blackish), Jussie Smolett and Yazz (both Empire actors).

Here is what Gustin had to say in his acceptance speech, which was taped:

"Hey guys, thank you to everyone that voted for me for Choice: Breakout Star. I'm so sorry I couldn't be there today, but I'm up in Vancouver making more of The Flash. I have the most fun job in the world and this was unexpected."
