Andrew Garfield, who played Spider-Man from 2012 to 2014 has finally made his peace with the Web-Head and has given us his idea what he thinks of Tom Holland taking his place.
"I’m just really excited to just be a fan again as opposed to bearing the weight of it." he told Enetertainment Tonight. Andrew was known for being a huge Spider-Man fan, and spoke for the rest of the fans when Sony removed many scenes from ASM2. When asked how he felt about Tom Holland taking the role, he replied "It feels lovely, especially because Tom Holland is a really, really great actor. He was in this movie ‘The Impossible’ and he was just this incredibly powerful, sensitive, just wonderful young actor. And (he’s) a dancer, so his body’s the right (form)." Though we're sad to see Andrew go, we are also excited for the inclusion of Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War featuring Tom Holland as the Web-Head.
