One of the best fandoms on the internet has to be the Harry Potter fandom. With 10 books and 8 films to draw from, the fans are still, to this day, noticing some of J.K. Rowling's wonderful additions to her much beloved series. This week Redditor nombono noticed one more thing that makes one of the series's biggest love stories that much sweeter.

While reading Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, nombono noticed during a chapter set in Professor Slughorn's potions class, that Harry's body knew he was in love with Ginny Weasley even before his mind did, aww! But how do we know this? Through the love potion Amortentia.

Amortentia, according to Hermione Granger is "the most powerful love potion in the world." The potion is very interesting because it smells differently to different people, according to what attracts them. So, when Harry got the chance to smell the potion, what did it smell like?

This left Harry, Ron, and Hermione to share a table with Ernie. They chose the one nearest a gold-colored cauldron that was emitting one of the most seductive scents Harry had ever inhaled: Somehow it reminded him simultaneously of treacle tart, the woody smell of a broomstick handle, and something flowery he thought he might have smelled at the Burrow. He found that he was breathing very slowly and deeply and that the potion's fumes seemed to be filling him up like drink. A great contentment stole over him; he grinned across at Ron, who grinned back lazily.

Hmm, so basically treacle tart, Quidditch and a flowery scent from the Burrow? But what exactly is that flowery Burrow scent? Well, we soon find out a little further on in the book:

"Hang on," said a voice close by Harry's left ear and he caught a sudden waft of that flowery smell he had picked up in Slughorn's dungeon. He looked around and saw that Ginny had joined them.

It's Ginny, duh! However, it's not until later on in Half Blood Prince that Harry's mind catches up with his body and he realizes he's in love with Ginny after seeing her kiss Dean Thomas. Naturally us readers had a pretty good inkling all along, but we all know our boy Harry isn't always the smartest when it comes to girls!

Of course, Ginny and Harry get together later in Half Blood Prince and remain married to this day with their three children James, Albus and Lily. Who would have thought the first inkling of Harry's love for Ginny would have been seen in in the dungeons of Hogwarts!
