With a growing clamor for the Thirteenth Doctor (or Fourteenth, if we're including the War Doctor) on Doctor Who to be female once Peter Capaldi's excellent run as #12 comes to an end, MCU and [Marvel's Agent Carter](tag:1119765) actress Hayley Atwell thinks she has the perfect person for the role: herself.

Atwell, who is one of the most interactive and outgoing celebs on social media, recently took to her Twitter for an impromptu Q&A session with fans. One of them asked the English actress if she'd ever like to appear on Doctor Who and the always-outgoing Atwell set the record straight:

I, for one, would be down to see the madcap adventures that Atwell could bring to the table as the first female Doctor. She's already proven through her work in the Captain America movies and Agent Carter that she's utterly charming, fearless, and a great kicker of ass. And while I really am enjoying Capaldi's time as the Doctor, I can't say that I don't miss a bit of the whimsy and childlike enthusiasm that both David Tennant and Matt Smith brought to the role as Capaldi's predecessors. Atwell would be a great choice to re-inject the Doctor with a bit of that joy.
