This may be my first time here, but I'm very good at fancasting. I was first exposed to the Mortal Kombat franchise as a little girl by my older brother by playing it with him, and I even own the first two MK films as well as MK Rebirth and MK Legacy. But when I heard that they will be doing a reboot of the Mortal Kombat franchise, I was very excited! So here's my fancast for the reboot coming out soon enough.

Scorpion: Ian Anthony Dale

He made a great portrayal of Scorpion by many ways, and his stunt moves are just undeniable. His role in MK Legacy may be the best one yet, and Ian himself is part Japanese, so he also the Scorpion look. He's still perfect for the role.

Sub - Zero: Mark Dacascos

So I might have seen him as Kung Lao in MK Legacy, but I prefer him more as the Lin Kuei leader. He has the right look for Sub Zero, and has trained in Capoeira, Muay Thai, Wushu, and Shaolin Kung Fu, so he's going to make a great Sub-Zero in many stances.

Liu Kang: Jason Scott Lee

I think Jason would pull it off as a great Liu Kang. He has the look for the Shaolin Monk, and trained in Jeet Kune Do, so his portrayal of Liu Kang will be so divine.

Shang Tsung: Johnson Phan (Younger) and Hiroyuki Sanada (Older)

Well I gotta say, both actors have plenty of similarities to the Soul Stealer, and their moves are just perfect for the role.

Quan Chi: Nathan Jones

He may be a WWE wrestler from Australia, here's the many reasons why I picked him as Quan Chi: He has the face and body for him, knows how to body slams his opponents really good, and knows how to take risks when it comes to starring in action roles.

Johnny Cage: Ryan Reynolds

I often see this Canadian hot shots in dramas and romantic comedy films, but thanks to his roles in Marvel's Deadpool and DC's Green Lantern, he's suitable enough for this Hollywood actor indeed.

Sonya Blade: Katheryn Winnick

Katheryn Winnick perfectly has the strength, beauty, brains, and bombshellness of the Special Forces Agent. Like Sonya, she also trained in Taekwondo, from which she holds a black belt. With her blond hair and blue eyes, as well as butt-kicking roles in the film Killers and tv series Vikings, she will pull it off in the role with no hesitation.

Jax Briggs: Michael Jai White

Ok, so his role as Spawn show his ability to take down a villain, but it's his role as Jax Briggs that proves he's not afraid to fight a criminal. All he needs is the robotic arms, and the action continues.

Kano: Manu Bennett

Some people say that Jason Statham should do the role of Kano, but I say Manu Bennett should. He's Australian and his role as Deathstroke in Arrow shows that him being a villain is just too good to handle. He has the Kano look, and with those moves, he's good to go.

Kitana: Samantha Jo

She worked as a stunt double in Zack Snyder films Sucker Punch and Man of Steel, and her role as Kitana is one of Mortal Kombat's best portrayals since Talisa Soto. She has the Kitana look, trained in Wushu, JuJitsu, and Tai Chi, and took part in Canada's International Women's Tournament, so I'd rather give her a second chance in the role.

Mileena: Kristin Kreuk

Her roles in TV'S Smallville, Edgemont, and Beauty and the Beast show that she's a nice young woman, but it's her role as Chun-Li in Street Fighter that shows she can also be much of a good fighter. As an emerging Hollywood actress from Canada, Kristin also has a little Mileena look, so she just needs some Edenian/Tarkatan makeup, to dye her hair black, the pink suit, and Sais, and there she is... as Mileena.

Sindel: Lena Headey

Lena may be a British actress, but when she showed off her stunt moves in 300, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Game of Thrones, and City of Bones, she knows how to work it without even missing a step playing a mother and a warrior, so this role of Sindel would absolutely take Lena on a bigger step to play both roles.

Jade: Zoe Saldana

I think Zoe Saldana should play Jade. Why? She has the Jade look (having a skin tone similar to Jade's), her brown eyes, her shiny black hair, and her appearances in Avatar, Star Trek, and Guardians of the Galaxy, shows that she's capable of martial arts, weapons and beauty, all at one time. She's very perfect for the role.

Tanya: Stana Katic

Her role in Castle reveals to us it isn't so hard working as an agent, so she just needs to find a yellow /black dress and dye her hair black, and we got Tanya in our hands.

Shao Khan: Dwayne Johnson

With his baldness , badass appearance in The Scorpion King, and even taking part as WWE Wrestler, as well as he also having the Shao Khan look, he'll pulling it off just fine.

Kai: Harold Perrineau

He has some striking similarities to Kai. He also needs to braid his hair in cornrows, and hit the gym more, but I can see him as Kai.

Raiden: Thomas Jane

Raiden is the eternal God of Thunder, as well as one of Earthrealm's most prominent protectors. Thomas even bears a somewhat striking resemblance to Christopher Lambert, so he just needs to hit the gym and the role is open for him.

Goro: John Cena

Despite him being a wrestler, he has the Goro look. He needs to train in martial arts; however, I can clearly see him as Goro.

Kung Lao: Jet Li

A long-term practitioner of Wushu, Jet Li shows us that we should never get tired of martial arts, and even push ourselves into acting as well. He has the Kung Lao look, and is also good at using unusual things as weapons, like building tools and sticks, so he should also learn the hat throw, and use to slice opponents.

Bo Rai Cho: Chow Yun Fat

I have to say, Chow Yun Fat has no problem portraying a drunken master, and with moves like those, he needs to wear a wig, and here's Bo Rai Cho.

Kabal: Channing Tatum

With a bod so hot shown in Step Up and Magic Mike, his starring appearances in White House Down and Stop-Loss shows us not only he can fight amazingly, but he can make a kick ass server in the army.

Li Mei: Krystal Vee

As with having the Li Mei look due to her modeling career, Krystal also trained in Muay Thai and Taekwondo, so she will be making a brilliant Li Mei.

Kira: Kate Boyer

Looks like Kira has a twin and her name is Kate. With her fire red hair, clear blue eyes and red , pouty, kissable lips, Kate has also trained in Muay Thai and is also a stuntwoman, so Kate is going to play Kira so flawlessly.

Nitara: Gina Carano

Gina, a MMA fighter, trained in Muay Thai, and is the daughter of a former Dallas Cowboys quarterback. All she needs to do is to let her down, put on dark makeup, wear a revealing costume with wings, and apply on vampire fangs, and there... Nitara is here.

Frost: Alexandra Daddario

Within her portrayal of Annabeth Chase in the Percy Jackson films, a supporting role in San Andreas, and her freakishly big beautiful blue eyes, Alexandra Daddario learns what it takes to be a brave, young, beautiful, and strong character. Alexandra also needs to train in martial arts, but I can see her as Frost, thanks to her eyes.

Kurtis Stryker: Tahmoh Pekinett

When I saw this man take action as Stryker in MK Legacy, I was blown away by his scenes. He has the Stryker look, and I'm glad the picked him for the role.

Reptile: Rain

He may be only a pop star in his native South Korea, but when I watched him in Ninja Assassin, I was surprised by him learning martial arts. Having trained in Karate, Taekwondo, Kickboxing, and Tai Chi for his role in Ninja Assassin, I started imagining him as the green acid-vomiting, bloodthirsty creature, and that's what's he is perfect for.

Nightwolf: Jason Momoa

Not only he has the Nightwolf look, but he great martial arts skills, and used them in Game of Thrones, and Conan the Barbarian, and DC shared film Universe.

Cassie Cage: Nicola Peltz

Nicola Peltz is an another emerging Hollywood starlet. She has the Cassie Cage look (Blond hair, blue eyes, and pouty lips) , and if you couldn't tell from her appearance in The Last Airbender, she might have trained in Taekwondo as a possibility. Like Mother Like Daughter, Special Forces style!

Jacqui Briggs: Zendaya

I ultimately picked Zendaya as Jacqui Briggs for many reasons. She may be a Disney star, but if you can't tell by the way kicks butt as KC Cooper on K.C. Undercover, she has used a stunt double to help, who may be specializing in Wushu. She also has the Jacqui Briggs look, despite being half white on her mother's side, and proudly rocks some tough girl clothing.

Baraka: Lateef Crowder

Lateef Crowder is one of the best Capoeira practitioners in the game. He has a little Baraka look, comes from Brazil himself, Plus he did an impressive move as Baraka in MK Rebirth.

Sareena: Jaimie Alexander

Jaimie Alexander is one pretty brunette, so when I watched her in the Thor films, I was frozen seeing her kick ass, but in a good way. Jaimie also has the Sareena look, so she needs to put on dark makeup and some revealing clothing, because she's so perfect for the role.

Movado: Alain Moussi

Alain Moussi is so perfect to play Movado, that he has to use kickboxing moves and wear a black Dracula-esque out and fangs, because he has the look for him.

Erron Black: Josh Brolin

Josh is one hell of a Academy Award- winning actor. He has the Erron Black look, and thanks to his role as Jonah Hex, he's still fit to play a western cowboy fighter like him.

Ferra/Torr: Renee Daw and The Green Khali

These two martial artists just to seem to match the deadly duo just perfectly. As they both match Ferra/Torr, they'll be doing great in no time

Kintaro: David Bautista

Despite being only 6'5', David just have the right muscular body and look to potray Kintaro.

Kenshi: Peter Shinkoda

Peter is very charmastic enough to play a blind swordsman. He has the Kenshi look, so I can't wait to see him levitate his opponents to death.

Takeda Takashi: Booboo Stewart

You know, there's something a little special about Booboo Stewart on why I picked him as Takeda: His role as werewolf, Seth Clearwater, in The Twilight Saga. He also has the Takeda Takashi look due to his long hair and being part Japanese.

Ermac: Russell Wong

Has a little Ermac look, his role in Romeo Must Die, just keeps me coming back for more.
Kung Jin: Edison Chen
With his flamboyant, handsome look, Edison's kombatant ways is what will make him an okay Kung Jin.

Sheeva: Angela Meryl

Within her role as a stuntwoman, Angela being buff like a is what makes her an excellent choice for Sheeva. She's also a great actress, so she'll do awesome in this role without missing a move.
D'Vorah: Zhang Ziyi
Zhang Ziyi is my most favorite Dan actress from China, and suprises me about her is that she bears a resemblance to D'Vorah's voice actress, Kelly Hu. She also trained in numerous martial arts I can't think of, but she's got everything for the role.

Rain: Tatsuya Fujiwara

He needs to train in more martial arts, but I can see him as Rain.
Cyrax: Morris Chestnut
Morris Chestnut is big and tall like Cyrax is, and does know how to fight well. Can't wait to see him as the robot.

Ashrah: Christine Ebadi

Ashrah is a female demon with a body of a Middle Eastern woman. Christine Ebadi is a Canadian stuntwoman with Arabian heritage, so this a defining match, and it all goes to Christine.

Noob Saibot: Nicholas Tse

He may be a Hong Kong-based actor/ singer, but he's also a badass in Kung-Fu flicks. His role in Gen-X Cops play big one for him being my choice for Noob Saibot 24/7. He has the Noob Saibot look, so this role would give him a household name for Hollywood
