Have you ever wanted to live in the Star Wars universe? Well, failing some kind of major shift in the laws of physics that separate the realms of fiction and non-fiction, that's kind of impossible. However, we might have the next best thing.

Disney recently announced a round of auditions for their new Star Wars Launch Bay attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios, California. Star Wars Launch Bay, which will also open in Shanghai, China, will be an interactive exhibition which will go behind the scenes of the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens. It seems the attraction will also be filled with various Star Wars characters, as Disney is looking for performers to head to a galaxy far, far away.

Considering there is a minimum height requirement, my guess is that some of the roles are for Stormtroopers. Are you a little short to be a Stormtrooper? Find out in the audition casting call below:

Disney Parks Talent Casting is seeking performers to portray characters from the STAR WARS Universe for the new STAR WARS LAUNCH BAY in Disneyland Park.
Disney Character Performers appear before thousands of guests each day in meet-and-greets across the Disneyland® Resort.
We are seeking the following performers:
Individuals with heights 6'1" and above
Performers must be at least 18 years of age or a high school graduate
Wear non-restrictive clothing; tennis or dance shoes are required
Current Disneyland® Resort Cast Members should bring a completed and approved transfer application
Must be available to work starting October 11, 2015
Momentum Dance and Performing Arts Center
3900-A Prospect Ave. Yorba Linda, Ca 92886

So if you're a 6'1" (or above), and an owner of tennis shoes, you might just be able to work in the Star Wars universe - or as close to it as anyone will be able to get. Just make sure you're down at the Momentum Dance and Performing Arts Center on Saturday, August 29th at 2PM

Currently, the Star Wars Launch Bay is expected to be built in the old Animation Building in Disney's Hollywood Studio's Animation Courtyard. It wasn't known when the attraction would open, but considering successful candidates start work on October 11, I think we can assume it will be around then.
