Elder Scrolls Online has enjoyed over two months of success on the Xbox One and PS4. However, there are still so many gamers out there that are interested in joining this MMO. Reviews are constantly sought after, and though they haven't always been kind, the ESO community has always had this game's back. There are plenty of issues with Elder Scrolls Online, of that we can be sure, but does that mean you should pass up the opportunity to play it on Xbox One & PS4?
I firmly believe that players are constantly searching for reviews for one reason: they really want to play ESO but they want to find someone that endorses it. The fact is that there really aren't that many glowing reports of this game from publications, but if you hop onto the Elder Scrolls Online Reddit community, you'll see that this title could really be something you'll enjoy having bought!
Is Elder Scrolls Online A Must-Play On Xbox One & PS4?
Every MMO has its problems. Creating a functioning online world for millions of people is a difficult challenge, one that often sees developers fall into countless traps that we've come to associate with bad MMOs. Personally, the problems that I have with ESO stem from its story and missions. These are generally not that interesting, and they have often tried to make you feel singularly important, even though there are twenty other people trying to complete the mission at the same time.
That being said, ESO is still a ridiculous amount of fun to blast through. But where I found my time was most rewarded was in this game's exemplary PvP. This is some of the most engaging PvP combat you can hope for on Xbox One and PS4, and even PC. Storming fortresses with your factions as tens of players fly arrows, cut one another down and launch a myriad of spells is invigorating. There is no other game on these consoles at the moment that can deliver a similar experience!
What's Your Review of ESO?
Personally, I think Elder Scrolls Online tops every other MMO you can buy for the XBOX One and PS4. That being said, it isn't for everyone. But take your time and explore different avenues. Pay a visit to the ESO Reddit community, they are vibrant, passionate and there are fucking loads of them! Ask questions and you'll receive answers. The official ESO forums are generally quite negative with a ridiculous amount of people complaining to ZeniMax.
But you'll find more support on Reddit. I think that The Elder Scrolls Online is worth your time, there's no other game like it on consoles. If anyone else agrees, be sure to let us know in the comments! And if you have any questions about ZeniMax's MMO, ask away.
