If the exciting news has not reached your ears yet, when Kingdom Hearts 3 finally releases, we'll be able to take an adventure all the way to San Fransokyo and meet up with the team from Big Hero 6.

And while this is more than enough excitement to get us fans to not care that a release date still hasn't been announced, I am slightly peeved that Big Hero 6 made it into the game over some other movies. Of course Square Enix and Disney have a reason for this, and I know that the list of worlds for the game hasn't officially been announced in full yet, but I really think other movies should've been given the opportunity to land a spot. Five other movies in fact.

1. Treasure Planet

One of the more underrated Disney films out there, I can see why Square Enix didn't want to take the chance. But then again, they have a world based off black and white cartoons made by Walt Disney from the late '20s to the early '30s.

And it would be great not only because it's about space pirates, but John Silver could mirror Riku's character, housing both light and dark in his heart. Jim would definitely be an interesting friend of Sora's. And Scroop could be our villain, or even the ghost of Captain Flint. This part of the game could take place on Treasure Planet and Sora would meet up with Jim at the same time as B.E.N.

2. Tomorrowland

Sure, this movie only came out this year, but Big Hero 6 just came out last November. Think about how awesome it would be battling Heartless with a jetpack on? Also, wouldn't it just be wonderful having George Clooney voice a character in a video game?

3. Toy Story

I mean, come on, how has this not happened yet? Toy Story has some of the best stories and characters. And clearly the cast is perfectly fine with coming back to make sequels, what's to stop them from doing a video game?

And there are three stories to go with here. We're not just limited to one. Personally, I think Lotso would be a great main villain for this world. And the furnace at the dump would make for a great Heartless battle at the end of the world to find the Keyhole. Just saying.

4. 101 Dalmatians

I know what you're thinking, 101 Dalmatians was already in the Kingdom Hearts series, during the first game. And you're right. But during that game it wasn't a world, but a side mission. And I really think that Pongo and Perdy deserve a bigger highlight. We've gone to Agrabah several times, Wonderland, Traverse Town, and so many others. Why not their world?

After Sora became a lion, being a dog can't be too weird. In this, there's no way he could be human, so a dog is the only logical solution. The best would be if he were a Labrador, the very animal that the Dalmatians disguise themselves as to escape from Cruella.

5. Star Wars

I don't know about anyone else, but when I heard that Disney bought the rights to Star Wars, I just expected it to be in a Kingdom Hearts game. I expected it more than I expected Big Hero 6 and more than I expected Marvel to show up.

Star Wars is just full of the whole light vs. dark motif in Kingdom Hearts and has awesome characters just waiting to be used. Plus, just imagine a lightsaber themed Keyblade. YEAH. And just about any of the Episodes could work really (I just hope it's not Episode I).

Honorable Mentions

  • Mary Poppins
  • Princess and the Frog
  • Frozen
  • The Avengers
  • Atlantis: The Lost Empire

I am really excited for Big Hero 6 to be Kingdom Hearts 3, but there are definitely some movies that would be fantastic in the next game. So, what do you think?
