Movie Enforcer (Movie Cop)

Here are my thoughts on the Raimi films.

Spider-Man 1 (2002): Great and a lot of fun to watch. The Best One.

Spider-Man 2 (2004): Overrated and Boring.

Spider-Man 3 (2007): Dreadful. The worst one and the worst Spider-Man movie period.

Even though I loved Spider-Man 1, however there could be some improvement. I didn't care much for Kirsten Dunst's performance and never found her attractive and forgettable. Norman Osborn/Green Goblin was the only villain I liked in the franchise. However I would make the costume look more comic accurate.

Even though Tobey Maguire sucked in 2&3, he was good in Spider-Man 1 and managed to nerdy and much more laid back than he was in 2&3. However Spider-Man humor from the comics and 90s cartoon was absent in 2&3 and even though there was some in Spider-Man and when it was there it was great, however I wish there was more. Some is better than (I'm talking to you Spider-Man 2&3).

Like Tobey Maguire, I liked James Franco as Harry Osborn in the first and he sucked in the sequels. First film he was very likable and the sequels he was just a whiny baby and should've been portrayed as a tragic figure like he was in the comics, 90s cartoon and even in the first film but explored more.

As far was for the first film I wouldn't do too much rewriting. I would just do some recasting and keep only one actor.

Directed By: David Koepp.

This was probably the reason why Spider-Man 2&3 sucked. Raimi didn't write Spider-Man 1. He just directed and this guy wrote. He understands Spider-Man far more than Raimi and it would've been awesome to see him write and direct it.

Music By: John Williams.

Elfman was decent (and I do love him as a composer), but I was though John Williams would be a good choice to do a Spider-Man movie. The music I actually think would fit for a character like Spider-Man.

The First Film with a slightly different cast.

I didn't have a problem with Gwen Stacy not being in the film because this idea was used in the 90s cartoon. Spider-Man The Animated Series never had Gwen and just skipped to Mary Jane.

Or go with the original script.

Have Norman Osborn/Green Goblin as the main antagonist and Doc Ock as the secondary antagonist. Doc Ock would be a scientist that works at Oscorp who works for Norman Osborn.

Norman Osborn was done fine. Unlike the sequel villains, Norman Osborn was more evil and still had the multiple personality disorder which was influenced by the 90s cartoon. However I would get rid of that even though I liked and though it was done well. Norman Osborn is portrayed as a corrupt business man/scientist before and while he is the Green Goblin.

Like Norman Osborn Dr. Octavious is kind of an asshole and a corrupt scientist.

Norman Osborn and Octavious meet Peter Parker in the first movie being fake nice to him.

The two villains do experiment on themselves at the same time which cause Osborn to become the Green Goblin and Octavious to become Doc Ock.This would happen after Peter Parker becomes Spider-Man. This could deal with people not liking Spider-Man.

Show more of Harry and Norman's relationship and to convey how he is a crappy father to Harry.

One fight between Green Goblin and Spider-Man have Spider-Man figure out that Green Goblin is Norman Osborn like the 90s Cartoon.

Then Doc Ock would get in the way and Spider-Man would fight him in order to get to Osborn.

I would have only Norman Osborn know that Peter Parker is Spider-Man instead of him and Doc Ock knowing. Norman Osborn would figure this out by witnessing Spider-Man taking off his mask just like the animated series.

The climax would be quite similar but I would have Spider-Man fight Doctor Octopus before he fights Green Goblin. Spidey defeats Doctor Octopus and Dock Octopus is thrown in jail.

After the battle with Doctor Octopus, Spider-Man rescues MJ and fights Green Goblin.

Knowing each other's identities, Spider-Man Green Goblin take their masks off like this comic here.

Our hero and main villain fight to death. At first Osborn has the upper hand. However similar to Spider-Man, Green Goblin provokes Parker and Spider-Man kicks Green Goblin's ass.

Like the comics and very similar to Spider-Man 1, Green Goblin tries to kill Spider-Man but accidentally kills himself.

Completely Re-Write the franchise. Pretty Like the original screenplay.

-Spider-Man 1 (2002).

Do the origin Story like it was.

Use Web Shooters. I like the organic webbing to. At least he still gets bitten by a radioactive Spider (which I will keep).

I would have Peter be in a relationship with Gwen Stacy.

I would have MJ be in a relationship with Harry Osborn.

Peter would be conflicted between Gwen and MJ. He's happy to be with Gwen but also wants to be with MJ just like the comics. He doesn't want to cheat on Gwen and wants to be a good friend to Harry.

Have Norman Osborn/Green Goblin as the main antagonist and Doctor Octopus as the secondary antagonist. Doctor Octopus would be a scientist that works at Oscorp who works for Norman Osborn.

The two villains do experiment on themselves at the same time which cause Osborn to become the Green Goblin and Octavius to become Doc Ock. This would happen after Peter Parker becomes Spider-Man. This could deal with people not liking Spider-Man.

Captain Stacy plays a role and is killed by Doctor Octopus.

The climax would be quite similar but I would have Spider-Man fight Doc Ock before he fights Green Goblin. Spidey defeats Doc Ock and Dock Ock is thrown in jail.

After the fight with Doc Ock, Spider-Man looks for the Green Goblin and discovers that Gwen has been abducted by Green Goblin. Spider-Man finds Green Goblin. Spider-Man and Green Goblin Duke it out. Green Goblin drops Gwen off the bridge. Spider-Man manages to prevent her from falling. Spider-Man than realizes that he was too late and Gwen dies in his arms.

Spider-Man seeks justice for Gwen's Stacy's death and finds Green Goblin for their final confrontation.

Knowing each other's identities, Spider-Man Green Goblin take their masks off. Like this comic here.

Spider-Man releases his anger and defeats the Green Goblin.

Green Goblin attempts to kill Spider-Man with his own Glider.

Like the comics and very similar to Spider-Man 1, Green Goblin kills himself with his own Glider and dies.

After the death of Norman Osborn/Green Goblin. Harry Blames Spider-Man for his father's death not being aware that he was the Green Goblin.

The film ends with Peter at Gwen's Grave with Harry at his father's grave. Not knowing that Peter Parker is Spider-Man Harry decides to be a good friend and tell Peter that he is sorry for Gwen's death and Peter tells Harry that he is sorry for his father's. After Harry leaves, Mary Jane comforts Peter and kisses him to help him move on from Gwen.

At the end credits the film foreshadows Electro being the main villain for the sequel.

-Spider-Man 2 (2004).

Like the actual film, this takes two years after the first film. However this is a completely different film.

Peter and Mary Jane are in a relationship. Harry becomes jealous of Peter and blames Spider-Man for his father's death.

The film introduces a new villain Electro.

Spider-Man and Electro have several battles.

Towards the end Spider-Man and Electro have their final battle.

After Spider-Man defeats Electro. Electro is thrown in jail.

At the end credits Harry hallucinates seeing The Green Goblin. This was one of the very few scenes I liked in Spider-Man 2. However Harry isn't aware that The Green Goblin is his father. The Goblin vision convinces Harry to don the Goblin outfit to avenge his father which is almost like the animated series.

-Spider-Man 3 (2005).

The film picks up right after the second film.

Peter and MJ are concerned for Harry and try to cheer him up and move on from his father.

Harry becomes the new Green Goblin to seek revenge on Spider-Man for the death of his father from the first film.

Peter and MJ go to Harry's house to try to cheer him up.

Unfortunately they realize that Harry wasn't there and it was the Green Goblin.

However. Spider-Man assumes that Green Goblin came back from the dead and the Goblin kidnaps Mary Jane.

Spider-Man manages to rescue Mary Jane.

Spider-Man confronts the Goblin. He realizes that the Green Goblin is not Norman Osborn and it's his son Harry.

Spider-Man tries to convince Harry that his father never cared for him and that he was The Green Goblin himself.

The film struggles with Spider-Man trying to help Harry redeem himself and realize the truth behind his father.

The Goblin vision tells Harry that Peter Parker is Spider-Man and was trying to turn Mary Jane against him.

Spider-Man and Green Goblin II have their final battle. Harry Osborn realizes the truth about his father and redeems himself and decides to stay with Peter and MJ. Harry accepts that MJ is in love with Peter and they become friends again.

At the end credits Mysterio appears to foreshadow him for the third film.

-Spider-Man 4 (2007).

Things at first seem to be going a-ok. MJ is with Peter and him Harry are now friends again.

However there is a new villain in town called Mysterio.

This is based on the Mysterio storyline from the comics.

Mysterio uses his illusions to screw with Spidey's head.

Spider-Man towards the end defeats Mysterio and throws him in jail.

At the end credits the film shows Vulture and Kraven to set up the fifth film.

-Spider-Man 5 (2008).

The film opens with the two villains going after Spider-Man.

The villains are The Vulture and Kraven The Hunter.

This film is basically Spider-Man Vs Kraven Vs Vulture and they're all against each other.

However Spider-Man eventually wins of course and the villains end up in jail.

At the end credits. The film has Norman Osborn resurrected and releases the villains from the previous films out of jail and serves as the leader of the iconic villain team the Sinister Six.

Spider-Man: Sinister 6 (2010). The Last film in the franchise.

The film has Norman Osborn/Green Goblin as the leader of The Sinister Six with Doc Ock second in command.

This film is pretty much Spider-Man Vs. The Sinister Six.

All the villains officially die.

At the end of the film Peter and Mary Jane finally get married which would be a good way to conclude the franchise.

-A Conflict for the entire franchise.

Peter also has to struggle with Jameson and the Daily Buggle.

The Cast.

The Heroes.

Topher Grace as Peter Parker/Spider-Man.

Forget that he played Venom. That never happened. In my opinion he should have been Peter Parker instead. He looks he did in the 90s cartoon has the right amount of humor and could surprise us with the serious side and would do the role justice.

Aaron Paul as Harry Osborn.

Note: Currently I think he would be good as Electro. Back in the day I think he would've been good for Harry.

Even though he wasn't a big name at the time, but I think this would have brought him on the map. His performance on Breaking Bad is a similar character to Harry Osborn and I think he would be great at playing the tragic friend of Harry who also struggles with inner demon problems in order to feel sorry for him.

Elisha Cuthbert as Gwen Stacy.

She might not be the greatest actress, but I think she would be a good fit for the role.

Laura Prepon as Mary Jane Watson.

I know this would be a That 70s Show cop out but I don't care. I'm casting her anyways. This is the MJ I grew up with. The sexy red head finally played by an attractive actress who is actually good.

Glenn Close as Aunt May.

Glenn Close is good at playing a loving mother figure but also a tough women. I think it would be interesting to see that portrayal of Aunt May.

Brian Dennehey as Uncle Ben.

Bruce Dennehey is great at playing a wise and caring family member which is what you need for This character so that it would have a big impact when he dies.

R.Lee Ermey as J. Jonah Jameson.

I was originally going to keep J.K. Simmons but ever since that he was casted in this role in Cameron's treatment, I've pictured him as JJ. I can actually picture him yelling Parker.

Carl Weathers as Robbie Robertson.

Comic Relief.

Weathers does a great job playing comic relief characters and he would be perfect for this role.

Harrison Ford as Captain Stacy.

Nuff said here.

The Villains.

Sinister Six Members.

Willem Dafoe as Norman Osborn/Green Goblin.

This the only cast member I'm keeping. Willem Dafoe was perfect and played a fantastic job in the role. However I would obviously make the Green Goblin costume more comic accurate and I would explore more as Norman Osborn as a corrupt business man (Before and while he is the Goblin) and more of his relationship with Harry.

Phillip Seymour Hoffman as Doctor Octopus.

R.I.P

Hoffman is great at playing bad guys and I think he would be a meaner and much more menacing Doctor Octopus than Alfred Molina.

Adrian Brody as Max Dillon/Electro.

Adrian Brody is a very underrated actor and I think he would be a good fit for Electro.

Arnold Vosloo as Quentin Beck/Mysterio.

Vosloo is still perfect to this day. He's great at playing bad guys and his performance in The Mummy shows that he can play Mysterio well.

John Malkovich as The Vulture.

I Prefer this version of The Vulture than all Green.

Do I really need to explain?

Russell Crowe as Kraven The Hunter.

Come on. I really shouldn't have to explain.

Minor Villains.

Gary Sinise as the Burgular.

I was originally going to go with Sean Bean, but I decided to go with Gary Sinise instead. He's good at playing a sleezy character when he dies the audience will cheer.

Aaron Paul as Harry Osborn/Green Goblin II.

This would be an interesting take to see him play the darker side of the character.

Costume Designs.

Spider-Man's Costume.

This was a perfect outfit for an adaptation.

Green Goblin Costume (Used for Norman and Harry).

This looks like the Green Goblin from the comics and it doesn't look cheasy. Let's hope this is what Marvel does for the reboot.

Doctor Octopus's Costume.

I did a photo manip of Phillip Seymour Hoffman as Doctor Octopus. Not perfect though.

I prefer this look for Doctor Octopus. But that's just me.

Electro's Costume.

You can make Electro look like the comics without making it look corny. I'm talking to you Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Mysterio Costume.

This looks very cinematic.

Kraven The Hunter Costume.

Not sure where it's from and found it online. It's looks like something that could work for a movie.

The Vulture.

I always preferred the Red-Black costume over the all Green Look. That's just me.

What do you think? Did you like the way it was or would you do it differently. Let me know and have a good day.
