The 1975 classic movie, Rocky Horror Picture Show, is one big party from start to finish! 40 years later, it is certainly time for a reboot. It could never replace the original but it would be awesome to see some new faces make the attempt. So, here are my choices for a Rocky Horror Picture Show reboot!
Dr. Frank-N-Furter - Ezra Miller
It is extremely hard to replace Tim Curry but Ezra Miller is definitely the best option. He certainly has the look, and has even portrayed the character in The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
Janet Weiss - Emma Watson
Also starring The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Emma Watson would be the perfect Janet Weiss (skip to 2:40 in the video above). Although she has the innocent look of Janet Weiss that Susan Sarandon brought to the character, you can see in the clip above that she also has the ability to be the bad girl, too.
Brad Majors - Zac Efron
If Zac Efron could bring back his cute, innocent Troy Bolton personality, he could be the perfect Brad Majors in a RHPS reboot. We already know that he can sing and dance - and would probably look pretty good in a corset. He'd be an awesome Brad!
Rocky Horror - Henry Cavill
We all know that Henry Cavill is in extremely good shape which, is why he is my choice to play Rocky Horror!
Riff Raff - Jim Rash
Known for playing Dean Pelton in the television series Community, Rash has the perfect look and attitude to play Riff Raff: A little bit creepy and a whole lot of weird.
Magenta - Helena Bonham Carter
When I first watched the original Rocky Horror Picture Show, I actually thought that Helena Bonham Carter was indeed in the film. The likeliness between her and actress Patricia Quinn is uncanny.
Columbia - Kristen Schaal
The high-pitched voice of Nell Campbell as Columbia would be an inspired match for the hilarious Kristen Schall.
Dr. Everett V. Scott - Tim Curry
What would the Rocky Horror Picture Show be without an appearance by Tim Curry? The now 69 year old actor would be a great as Dr. Everett V. Scott!
Eddie - Adam Levine
Originally played by Meatloaf, Adam Levine seems like the obvious choice to play Eddie. He has the tough, rockstar personality that Meatloaf displayed in the original movie.
The Criminologist - Bill Murray
Bill Murray makes everything better and even though the Criminologist is a very minor role, he could bring a new level of awesome to the part.
