In honor of the release of the film The Man From U.N.C.L.E., that is based on the 1964 television show with the same title, here are 5 Must See Movies that are based on classic TV shows:

1. 21 Jump Street

Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill star in this hilarious remake of TV show 21 Jump Street. The TV show's star, Johnny Depp, even makes a cameo in the modern adaptation. There was also a sequel released entitled 22 Jump Street.

These movies are Must Sees primarily because of the chemistry between Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum. Their bromance is not only a hilarious combination of silliness and tenderness on-screen, but they are also marvelously close off-screen.

2. Charlie's Angels

Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, and Lucy Liu star in the 2000 version of Charlie's Angels. These three badass women are not to be messed with! Similar to the dynamic in 21 Jump Street, the on-screen relationship between these three women is caring and also goofy.

3. Dark Shadows

This goofy remake of TV show Dark Shadows received mixed reviews. Nevertheless, Johnny Depp and Tim Burton unite once again in a fantastically wacky film adaptation. On top of the funky vibe this movie emits, it has a stellar cast including Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Helena Bonham Carter, Eva Green, and Chloë Grace Moretz--just to name a few.

4. Entourage

This recent remake stars original show cast Kevin Connolly, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara, and Jeremy Piven. While receiving some negative reviews, hardcore Entourage fans were no doubt excited for a continuation film. This movie also had an exciting cameo cast including Mark Wahlberg, Pharrell Williams, Jessica Alba, Kelsey Grammar, and Tom Brady.

5. The Addams Family

Possibly one of my favorite movies, let alone remakes, The Addams Family perfectly captures this family's essence. Their abnormality does not seem so odd, on the contrary it is the rest of society that seems out of place. Their "darkness" has a lightness to it, they are a happy family that thrive despite having a gothic vibe.
