From the creators of the, “The Walking Dead,” executive producers, Dave Erickson and Robert Kirkman bring a new tale of zombie survival as the city of Los Angeles is being plagued with an infestation of the dead through its city streets. The new television show titled, “Fear the Walking Dead,” accounts how zombie apocalypse all began through-out metropolitan cities including Los Angeles. As two divorced spouses make go to build a new family together, they discover news report of missing persons, and people mutilated beyond recognition are being found throughout the city. AMC’s new horror/drama, “Fear the Walking Dead,” series premiered Sunday with a 90 minute episode and every Sunday at 9 eastern time.
With high expectations for the show’s success and gain popularity with a new hoard of zombie fans like its predecessor, The Walking Dead,” the show offered a lukewarm reception. Though it's the beginning development stages of a new series. it paid too much attention of the drug habits and search for Nick Clark, played by Frank Dillane. Nick, a drug junkie, finds himself waking up in an abandoned church becomes the opening scene of the show. NIck becomes terrified as he bears witness to see his friend Gloria enjoying pieces of someone's face in her mouth. Shocked what he saw runs away until he’s hit by a car and is hospitalized. Then the pace of the show slows down as it introduces Nick’s sister, Alicia Clark, played by Alycia Debnam Carey, as she walks to the school's stadium to meet her boyfriend. Nick confides with Travis Manawa, played by Cliff Curtis, what he saw at the abandoned church was no hallucination.
What AMC's television zombies series will go down as the greatest show ever aired?
Madison Clark, played by Kim Dickens, is vice principal at a local high school and Travis love interest. Unfortunately their chemistry between the two were a mismatch from MATCH.COM. Though no mention as the reason the two were divorced from their previous marriages, Travis seemed very frustrated closing a chapter in his life with his separated son. Later, Nick escapes from the hospital in search for his friend/drug dealer Calvin, played by Kevin Powers. Afraid of what Nick might say about him, drives to city's aqueducts to silence any loose ends. Nick and Calvin struggle with the gun then goes off and kills Calvin. Meanwhile the school announce a half day giving Travis and Madison a chance to drive all through town until NIck calls for help. Confessing of killing Calvin in self-defense, find Calvin walking with a bloody gunshot wound to the chest and a pair of Golden Corral hunger eyes, lunges for Madison’ s arm. Madison and the rest escape zombie Calvin but all to wonder if Los Angeles is in jeopardy of becoming a city of zombies? Hope to see a lot more of that zombie plot twists fans and I have expected to see from, “The Walking Dead,” in upcoming shows.
