When Arkham Asylum first came out, it shocked the video game community. Not only was it a great game, it kicked off what would end up being one of the most successful video game series of all time. With Arkham Knight here, we all have the same question: what's next for Rocksteady? Could it possibly be another Batman game? I realize that Rocksteady has made it clear that Arkham Knight was Batman's final hurrah but there's just so much more story to tell with the Dark Knight. With the lesser-recieved but still fun Arkham Origins, it proved that you can make an enjoyable prequel. And why not make another prequel? I know that fans would die for it, including myself. Or possibly Batman could pass the torch to his partner-in-crime, Robin. At least we know that Rocksteady can and would make another enjoyable video game. My question is, is the batman series really over? I think not. Unlike Arkham Asylum, City, and Knight, Arkham Origins was not developed by Rocksteady. And it proved to be a decent game. So could we see another Batman game from a company other than Rocksteady such as Warner Bros. Montreal? Since Warner Bros. owns the rights to Batman, they have the final say in making another video game. And depending on the success of Arkham Knight (which will make a fortune) I think we can expect another Batman game in the near future.
