There's a lot of material for speculation in American Horror Story. Although every season is ostensibly a new location, replete with entirely new cast members and settings, there are a heck of a lot of crossovers. Coincidence or sneaky hint?
Sure, we were wrong about the 'Top Hat' clue for Season 5 and I have my doubts about the American Horror Story as Dante's Inferno theory, but now show creator Ryan Murphy has given us a solid answer:
American Horror Story: Hotel and Murder House ARE linked.
An announcement of this magnitude requires some Beauty Rest...
Ryan Murphy recently confirmed:
"We do go to the Murder House for one episode."
Finally! Maybe we're going to truly find out about what he hinted at last year:
"They’re all connected. We’re just beginning to tell you how they’re connected. They’re all very separate but there’s clues every season that we’re now telling you how the different worlds are intertwined."
I mean, we have our theories... but we need Murphy himself to spill the details!
Remember the irritating realtor from Season 1? Marcy (played by Christine Estabrook), who shows the Harmons around the Murder House returns to Hotel, which also has a contemporary setting.
Is Marcy just a crossover character or some inter-world witch imbued with evil real estate powers? I don't even know anymore... The only thing I know for sure is that I couldn't be more excited about American Horror Story: Hotel. Especially as it's based on a true story and LILY RABE is playing America's most famous female serial killer...
