It seemed like a normal day yesterday when Jennifer Lawrence sat down with a reporter at 'The New York Times' to discuss her final turn playing Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2. Jennifer and the reporter then bounced around some more casual subjects. Suddenly, just like magic, the words escaped from Jennifer's mouth revealing some breaking news... which was probably not planned to be released just yet.
J Law revealed that she and Trainwrecks's Amy Schumer have already joined creative forces and have started penning a comedy screenplay together. If this was not already epic enough, well, let me tell you that these two familiar faces are planning to also star in it. Talking to 'The New York Times,' Jennifer let them be privy to some awesome inside secrets:
We play sisters. We’re almost done writing. It just flowed out of us. We’ve got about 100 pages right now
It was Trainwreck that sparked Jennifer to get this project rolling
I emailed her after I saw ‘Trainwreck’ and said, ‘I don’t know where to get started. I guess I should just say it: I’m in love with you. We started emailing, and then emailing turned to texting
You may remember seeing photos of the pair bonding while jet skiing together earlier this month
I can only imagine the amounts of jokes that would have bounced back and forth between these two during their jet skiing trip! They look like they are having a whale of a time.
They even formed a human pyramid with their friends
J Law felt a close bond with Amy, stating:
We really hit it off, to say the least.
Then the 'oops' moment crept in
Jennifer became aware of the big news and while picking up her phone, told the reporter:
Let me just text Amy and tell her that I told you.
Did Amy care?
Amy immediately texted back and Jennifer began laughing out loud. So things are definitely okay! J Law even told the times how the texts went:
I wrote, ‘I just spilled the beans to The New York Times. Is that O.K.?’ And Amy wrote back, ‘That you’re gay? Totally! It’s exciting!
I can't wait to see what Amy and Jennifer create, I have a feeling it's going to be totally awesome!
