If there's anything that actors in superhero films seem to have in common (aside from their the gigantic fan bases and envious physiques) it's the fact that they sincerely care about their fans, and will go out of their way to help when they can. In today's case, [Wolverine 3](tag:1166878) star Hugh Jackman surprised one superfan during a live interview on the radio -- and the conversation got even more adorable from there.
Domenic is a 9-year-old boy who was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, and is a gigantic Wolverine fan. When Austrailian DJs Kyle and Jackie O invited him to their show to talk about the superhero, Domenic was kept unaware of the fact that Hugh Jackman (who the Make-A-Wish foundation had secretly arranged for him to meet) was in the next room over. The station called Jackman for an on-air interview between he and Domenic, and during a question about Jackman's favorite Wolverine pose, he decided to show Domenic in person.
Check out the video below, which includes an adorable moment involving a certain swear word that sent fans reeling with laughter during X-Men: First Class.
While Kyle totally gets cool points taken away for insulting Wonder Woman, Domenic is a wonderful superfan who was a complete sweetheart on air. As the interview ended, Jackman gave Domenic tickets to see him perform live (likely in Broadway to Oz, which is touring Australia now) and said:
Mate, you are awesome. It is so great to meet you. I've met a lot of fans over the years; you are one of my favorites, man.
